What else controls how lean?

Does anything else besides ECU/fueling/air intake control how lean your bike is running?

I'm curious because I just got Todd's full 2-2 exhaust with ECU reflash. It's great and transformed the bike completely and the sound is bananas. However I'm getting some decel popping that I can't cure and I've notice the headers are blueing a bit out of the heads, which I thought would just become a golden yellow.

Some background, my OEM headers before this were blue as all hell, I'm talking like 12 inches of blue. One time last year It was a humid foggy night and I looked down at my headers and they were glowing cherry red.

So I'm wondering, is something else potentially wrong? Sacred screw (which I never touched)? I don't ride conservatively either, I speed up quick usually.

Get over it. Single wall pipes will turn blue. If they don't you are running too rich. As for the decel pop, probably an exhaust leak. My MkV does that and I've looked for the leak and can't seem to isolate it. Does it bother me, no. BTW, I've never had a Guzzi that the pipes didn't turn blue. I've seen airhead BMWs turn blue just about to the transmission.

Cool. Yea I just need to calm the fuck down. I guess when you have such high expectations and built up so much excitement, then every little thing is an anxiety trigger. But, in the grand scheme it's just a minor blip. Overall I am extremely happy with Todd's exhaust system and ECU reflash. The bike is 100% better as a result. I'll post some pics soon.

I'm still in the process of changing a bunch of things but it all takes time, and more importantly money. I have Rizomas new "one" mirror (yes I only have one right now cause I am young and dumb), which is an awesome mirror, love the classic look and low profile. I ordered MAS front and rear fenders which I'm powdercoating matte black, as well as v7 racer aluminum side panels which are also getting powder coated. Gotta get rid of the plastic. Suspension in the near future as well.
