Anyone experienced this weeping from the carc ?

Dealer used silicon to stop, though still weeping. (purchased in February)
I'm not sure if weeping from inside rubber boot or just below. Had placed a piece of paper inside boot and did not think it was from there because it looked clean and dry.

Any thoughts ??

Thanks.

Two options, live with it and keep cleaning off the area, or remove CARC, split and re-seal with sealant. The sealant should be something like Yamabond which is an adhesive sealant made to seal casings without a gasket, not silicone. I did quick search and found these links discussing products.

I have used The Right Stuff on my Model T. You have to be fast as it sets relatively quick.

Did you buy it new, if so you are still under warranty. That is not normal, there is a seal failure going on somewhere.

Yes, I brought newish. Demo model, 1750k's. Over 4000k's now.
2years warranty. Dealer will fix problem.

How are they planning to fix the problem. I have the same thing on my Stelvio but from the looks of your picture much less severe. Mine just looks like a mist. Can barely rub it off and when I do, not even enough to smell it. If they are going to replace the Carc then I will let my dealer know, if they are going to split the case and try to reseal. I may just leave well enough alone or repair my self, possibly from the outside but not sure if that will work. Don't want to possbily create other problems if they don't get it right. Yours looks much worse so a fix is needed.

This is normal from what I have seen bot my stelvio and griso have done this from new, I think it is misting out of the vent it is worse when the bike is run very hard. if you just putter they do not seem to weep at all
