Hi all,

I live in New Zealand and am considering the flyscreen (GU06977200) for Griso 12008v.

Plan to travel to Invercargill for the Burt Munroe event. (not racing).

Quite a long trip, could do with a little shelter from the wind.

Anyone used one and thoughts please :?:

Also anyone from down under know a good place to purchase one ?

Thanks. B)

In trading some emails, it looks like the option to take delivery on this screen is getting smaller. I'm still collecting orders in hope they will be available again soon. Contact me direct if interested in one.

Also, the fly-screen is pretty minimal, so depending on your expectations of "wind protection" the larger Tour screen might be better suited.

The flyscreen on my Griso does offer a more relaxed ride. It takes enough wind off the chest at highway speeds to make a difference in long-haul comfort, and it eliminated the helmet buffeting I used to get on the naked Griso.

It doesn't offer any weather protection, there's nothing to hide behind if it rains. But it also doesn't spoil the clean lines of the bike -- something I can't say about the bigger screens.

I think another real advantage of the flyscreen is the protection from rain it provides for the speedo. I'm glad to have mine.
