Hello as a new member to Guzz tech and as a guzzi owner i wanted to ask your advice. I have recently bought a 750 breva , this isnt going to win the Isle of Man TT but i love riding it and find its a much better bike than my last two bikes a gs1200 r BMW and a 900 Bonnie .The BMW was boring and bland and as for the Triumph well poor performance for a 900 twin .Anyway back to my question would the 750 Breva run ok with a set of reverse cone megas on . Your comments would be much appreciated .

Any time you stray from stock, fueling becomes an issue. Take a look at the Store tab for fueling and exhaust options. These have been researched by Todd to work together. You really can't modify the exhaust much without going in to correct the fueling.

Oscar, go ahead with the exhaust modification, just don't get crazy with it. The Lamda (oxygen) sensor will adjust the fueling to match the pipes, but it's adjustment range is limited.

That's a good thing, but unlike carbureted bikes, it takes major software/hardware to adjust the fueling on computer bikes beyond this.. Still fun though. Fun, but expensive.

Oscar, another 'welcome aboard'. The 750s really don't gain much by way of performance unless you throw some serious money into the mods. Even then the gains are small when compared to some of the new 600cc bikes on the market. The limiting factor is the heron heads which won't flow well at higher rpms. Changing the exhaust will give you a different sound and look different but I doubt you will gain much, if any, hp.

Thanks for your advise i am not a speed freak just a plodder but i do love the sound of a v twin with loudish exhausts on i have had a few ducatis in the past with megas on and they sound like a motorbike in my opinion should ,i think i will give it a go and report back ,

Welcome to the Forum, and congrats on the B750. Try a search here on mufflers and fueling.
Please do not replace the mufflers and (wrongly) assume that the stock injection will compensate (it will not). The B750 was set up slightly richer then the newer V7 variants, but far from ideal even in stock trim. Your Breva has a lambda in the exhaust, correct? There are several fuel modifier options on the Store tab above. Happy to be of help direct email; Todd at GuzziTech.com
