Hello All.

New Member - New Guzzi owner - 1st post on Todd's most excellent site.

I just bought and then re-bought a set of these bags for my bike. I did not buy these from Todd due to an initial miscommunication. Probably just as well though because as soon as I received the first set I needed to process a return.

I thought I'd share a few pictures showing the difference between the 40L and 30L bags on this specific bike. These pictures should clearly show for this specific Guzzi model the difference in appearance.

When I bought the 40L bags as the first set the pictures provided on the H-B and other sites were not very good at showing the difference in comparison to the smaller bags. I think the 30L's are a good 'fit' for this bike and the 40L's not so much.

Of course if you have a need for the extra 10L's space then it may not matter.

I returned the 40's in favor of the smaller model.

I'll begin with a couple pics of the 40L's. They are massive on this bike.

And now the 30L's.

Thanks for the post and info, and welcome aboard. I'm in the middle of getting the Hepco products on to my new Store, but if I don't get them up in time for anyone ready to order, please reach out to me direct email; Todd at GuzziTech.com Hope you'll send along or post your info on your 12S to the Registry in this section as well. Post often.

I'm using a set of the Hepco Becker Journey bags on my 1100 Breva. 42 liter bags and they don't stick out nearly as much as the Junior. To me a better choice of bag for the Guzzi, and it uses the same mounts.

I may just replace my original Norge Bags with these. Ever since I update to the new rubber strip, they barely close.
Of course I'll need to have the metal inserts painted RED ;-)

I'm using Krauser soft panniers with Hepco & Becker C-Bow mounting brackets. Not massive panniers but with considered packing, and unnecessary items left behind (why do we always over pack ?) I can easily carry enough tee shirts and boxers for a couple of weeks trip.
I can even filter through the horrendous traffic in London with ease.

Both Panniers

The 30L looks good can you post o pic of the bike with the panniers removed. Just showing the brackets/mounts?

I can do that...

H B Bag Rack left

H B bag rack rear

H B bag rack right

Maybe it goes without saying, but when German engineering meets Italian engineering there's about a 20% drop in, "sexy". I thought however that it would be worse.

Installation of the rack took just a little muscling but once in place these things are rugged; solidly mounted to the bike frame taking full advantage of what the frame makes available for solid mounting points.

The way the rack mounts behind the license plate holder is a thing of technical beauty.
