What size adaptor is needed to attach a vacuum gauge to the manifold?

Hi,

having lost the adaptors for my vacuum gauges over time I got some replacements but can only get 4 and 5mm diameter threaded ones.
And of course the grizzo needs a larger one. So can anyone tell me what size it needs and is there a work around.

Thanks

Tim

Tim, you removed the stock fittings it sounds like? I'd grab some new ones, and leave a rubber line connected between the two. These engines seem happier that way. You're asking for the thread size?

Hi Todd, - my grisso is as I bought it - so when you say stock fittings the may have been taken off by the previous owner . Could you by any chance send me a photo of what these fittings look like.

Thanks

Sorry Todd - don't worry about my last post. I've done a bit of research and what I think you are thinking of is the fuel vapour recovery system which is US specific. Here in the UK the manifolds just have a screw and washer to seal the hole. So what I will do is see if I can order the US version union, screw and washers from my local dealer so I can attach my vac gauge.

Thanks

Tim

Hi Tim. I got my adapters from Davida UK. The guys who do the crash helmets and top spec vacuum gauges.
