...tingling just after 15min ride, now I'm good for over half an hour before I need to shake them off. I'll take that as win:)
3. Rear brakeupgrade. After Brembo PS11 upgrade rear brakes were tight, but each day I'm finding them on a softer side after bike is sitting for a day. Once I start...
If you found this forum earlier, there is an easy way to do the disconnect without cutting the fuel line. Search and you will find your answer. https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/removing-fuel-line-quick-disconnect.20279/
Burrs up my saddle after 8 mo of ownership: 1. Red Triangle of Death issue (suspected oil pressure sender) requiring tank removal and 2. PIA fuel-line disconnect fitting. I already cut the factory line and ordered a brass in-line quick disconnect that doesn't require a tool to release. 3...

You should consult the wiring diagram in the DOWNLOADS section before messing with the wiring. It is a hybrid CANbus and there are points of measured resistance along certain pathways.
It IS NOT like a motorcycle from the 70’s and 80’s where you cannot cause much of an issue...
Rear brakeupgrade.
Rear brakes on V7 sucks... Since 0 miles on the bike rear brakes were too soft for my liking. I could never lock rear brakes without ABS or trigger ABS no matter how hard I step on them. I've change brake fluid 3 times in a span of nearly 2 years, bled them 4 times thinking...
Todd, I have looked at this GTM exhaust data a number of times but all of these posts are about four years old now. Some current commentary might be valuable. Just returned from a 5000 miles spin through New Brunswick, PEI, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Labrador and Quebec. Can’t recommend it to...
I moved your post to this section, as the Intro section is JUST for that, as noted, not for tech questions. Read the scrolling paragraphs top of every page. A search would’ve given you this thread; https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/v7-brake-upgrades.17129/ - read up and click on the STORE...

Hey guys,
I have a ongoing cafe racer project from my 1979/80 SP1000. I'd like to upgrade the front calipers and discs and at the same time change to spoked rims. First of all does anyone know of a manufacturer/supplier for converting 2 pot Brembo calipers (P4-30/34's) including the adaptor/s...
The service manual in the Downloads section gives the procedure to check the clearance between the tone wheel and the sensor. If the tone wheel has been deformed it will give erratic readings. You need to upgrade your account to download the manual see...
Hello, guys. Well now that my 1400 actually runs well, I decided I really like it and wanted to fit the OEM Guzzi Touring 1400 bars. I found a dealer in Cincinnati that had a black one in stock, they were very nice to deal with in the ship them out to me to calgary arrived in about four days. I...

Anyway……the brake recall is a good upgrade

I would like to change my Triumph Scrambler with an older Moto Guzzi.
I'd like to start a project with an older carb Guzzi.
The design should be close to the current V7.
So my idea was to get a v1000 SP, remove the protections, mount the T5 fuel tank, higher and wider handlebar, spoked...
Thanks for the additional tips guys. Hippo-Drones I'm a fan of your channel!
I've done a bit more reading since my original post and have added a few more things to the long term preventative maintenance list:
- upgrade the ball joint shift linkages
- install folding toe pegs so you don't snap...
