Solo rides are good, though I do enjoy the company as well.
But riding to your own beat, going your own direction along with stopping and going in an instant is a true freedom.
And the people you meet along the way help to make some awesome memories.
Howdy good folk.
It is the height of Summer here in New Zealand, but damn the last few weekends have been blasted with some crazy non summer like weather.
Makes for some interesting moment to go into the memory files.
And some for the YouTube video files.
Got a few films on the go to be...
Many of the jobs on these bikes aint to hard. Just gotta give it a go. Saves a few dollars (as long as you don't get it wrong) And a huge level of satisfaction on completion.
A film I did threw online.
An awesome gathering in the cetral Otago region of the South Island, epic roads and scenery to match up with the awesome machines that came together.
2 little films online now, with some more to follow. I'll post the links in here as they are done. Or better still.... just go and subscribe...
My Mighty Griso is looming in on 200,000km And I guess some bits require service to ensure we can get another 200k from the dear bike .
Check out the below video for my experience from the shed floor. Pretty amature. But deff worth stepping out and buying the correct sockets and stuff to get...
Wow, the North Island of New Zealand is pretty special.
I reside in the South, which is the better Island of the two. Ha ha. But a visit North is awesome. Been putting together a series of little films.
Below are the first ones to date.
The Griso has been my very reliable steed, with quirks over the years, but nothing that has not been able to be sorted.
Some life blood and spark is a staple job every 10k
Totally love riding, all weather's, all seasons. Getting out and exploring the country side.
Two video in the last couple weeks. The 1st is a fab winter ride into no where, and the second is a quotation about the wow of scenic views.
Its winter and we did not expect how cold it would become. But if ya got some spare minutes to fill. check out the 1st episode of this 2 part adventure to the mountains.
Got out to the West Coast for a night early winter, camping. But the unexpected happened, when the camp food was stolen.
Never imagined this would happen.
To get up in the morning, work the day away, finish, quickly pack the bike and ride away for not even a day.
A brief escape is better than non at all.
We are so lucky here to have so much at our fingertips.
Day one was a wet trek to the Westside of the South Island, camping on the main fault line.
Day Two, we are looking to strike it rich. continuing our tour.
