Both the Norge and the Stelvio have racks and/or luggage that protrude past the reflector and that saves it accidental impact.
The reflector spine may well be the same part but it's application on the cruiser styled Bellagio is problematic as this is the 4th Bellagio that I have witnessed with...
Hi Scott, please see the above part 6 and how far it protrudes out from the rear guard, probably 350mm long and angled well beyond the rear guard.
My wife used to walk by the garaged bike and trip on it, when parking rear to kerb it regularly caught pedestrians legs and I only really cottoned on...
Had the same problem with my Bellagio and it's a design fault rather than a material choice fault.
I chose to keep the plate/ mudguard original and repair it thusly -
Remove the ridiculous metal spine that runs up under the duck tail that holds the reflector and throw it in the bin.
Every time I...
Had a wasp go down the front of my jacket at 120kph once, you soon forget about the handle bars!
Or how about holding your mobile and texting and then waving to Police on the road side? That's sure to get the bike to pull to one side.
Isn't there a legality to be being in control of the vehicle...
This is very true and here in Australia a lot of airborne insects have a high salt content (maybe the same elsewhere too) so it's doubly bad when touring around lakes and marshes.
I run a 45mm Marzocchi front end and have been through 2 seal sets in under 40k.
There simply had to be a reason why the seals were chewing out so quickly.
So I had the chrome professionally examined under a microscope and discovered micro pitting every where and since chrome plating is porous...
As per the title, does anyone know what was the last of Guzzi's big block two valve motorcycles?
I am assuming that it was the Bellagio but stand to be corrected if wrong.
Thanks for everyone's help, Chris.
I think that I do.
I bought Guzzi because I wanted idiosyncrasies, character (which I class as doing some things very well and other things, well, not so well) this creates that classical 'love/hate' relationship which I crave.
Other brands seem to constantly strive upwards, bigger, better...
How much trouble it could cause?
The above quote is 'click bait' and I am kicking myself for not jumping on it sooner.
Tyres are part of the suspension as in everything suspended from the vehicle is in concert with everything else.
So generalisation is used and a range of answers could be...
Hey Scotty,
When I said "capture the cruiser market" I should have said " capture its own cruiser market. "
Cruisers in my eyes are ridden at speeds low enough so the rider can observe without destination and typically swap outright speed for other sensations like a strong pulsed vibration, a...
Although my bike is not a 4 valve it did present a problem a lot like the original post presents.
Fix was to simply retorque the studs since they were way under spec.
You hit the nail on the head this is a perfect rider only first bike.
Moderate, usable power, easy to ride and easy to park.
Wonderful choice.
I was looking to buy one years ago but since I do a lot of two up riding I decided against it.
