I also bought lower saddle, it is 20mm lower (0,787") than standard. For me who is only 172cm it made little difference. Now I get my whole foot down in the ground.
Got my yesterday. VIN: ZGUKWA004KM002601 City: Ullånger
180 km journey home, feels good so far. Having ordered a lower saddle, I'm only 172 cm so 20mm lower seat height can be good.
Hello everyone.
Some info for you who have leakage. At my V7 Classic cafe 2011 I had it. There was a damage from the factory (Blue marker at Red Arrow)
Put it in the lathe and used a sandpaper for the damage And
mounted new radial seal (number: 15)
Perhaps you can imagine that some have that...
Hello Peter.
On my 2011 Classic Cafe it was the Great Seal ring 75x95x10 caused the leak.
I had to take a puller to do the job. My bike has just rolled 12000 km so I'm not exactly impressed with the quality ...

I have not fixed my leaking yet, so I can not tell what is causing my leaky.
I am not at all impressed with the quality of my V7 Cafe. Really lousy with oil spills on such a new bike.
Have owned Yamaha, Honda, BMW and Harley and they have all been entirely free from that.
Even my Guzzi 850T...
I went for this: https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/color-code.13047/
Mine was repainted so I did not have much to go by.
I am pleased with this PPG code.
V7 Racer is really a beautiful bike. But all V7 models should have had a little more power. about 70 horsepower would have been nice.
Are there any of you all out there who have a good explanation why the MG has chosen to have only just below 50HP in the 750cc bikes?
It is possible that Honda is more reliable than Guzzis but I think
MG has a lot more soul than the Japanese bikes.
If you read a bit on various Honda forums so they are not faultless either.
But we all have different tastes and preferences.
Good luck with your new Honda, hope you get many...
