There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. Be sure to see the GTM STORE link also above for our 700+ product inventory, including OEM parts and many of our 100% Made-in-SoCal-USA GTM products and engine kits. In SoCal? Gday Mackers, no. I changed that after I put the seal protector on backwards once. As things wore, they were replaced under a fairly strict budget, that was over ruled by common sense. The ability to add fuel to the right hand side is the most outstanding mod/repair ,backed up by an overhaul of...
Birch, I too reckon I might keep my 1100 rather than sell it and buy a new 2015 red / black jobby, which couldn't happen for a year or so anyway. In the meantime....I like how my bike goes..My bike has had 2 aftermarket maps in him . The full box and dice Power Commander setup and the Guzzidiag...
Contractor20 have you had the T3 from new.? That's a nice part of the world where you live. You can wear these things out but ya cant kill em with a big stick.
If you use the green gaskets you will see that one side is smooth and the other matt, fit them shiny side to the head. The gasket will stick to the cover making it easier to remove ....eventually. After fitting new gaskets and indeed re-using old ones , let the bike go through a few heat cycles...
If you use the Green gaskets you will see one side is shiny(ish) and the other is matt. Fit the shiny side to the head. The matt side will stick to the cover , much easier to clean the gasket off the cover.....eventually. After fitting new gaskets let the bike go through a few heat cycles and...
Gday. Does anybody have the dimensions of the rear main bearing puller? Oil weep at the back of crankcase needs investigating , and I would like to have a puller ready beforehand in case it is needed. Yes I might be able to buy one, but the dearest part of making my own will be the cost of the...
I have a Corbin seat on my 1100 Griso. The seat is wider and thicker than standard,it also feels as if I sit a bit further back than the stock one. My first ride with the Corbin had me thinking I was sitting on a cushion, and when I went into town to the underground carpark I ducked ,thinking I...
Beauty. I was wondering what to get my darling wife for her 50th birthday. an FKE fork kit to suit her 2013 V7 Stone will be just the thing.!! But what does the kit contain? How much are fork springs to suit ? Will the springs be tailor made for her weight? I assume that any of the Matris rear...
Anybody usin the Pacific Highway through the Mid North Coast (Taree) or thunderbolts way, if you want to do a K or two with a fellow Guzzista email me cjguzzi@hotmail.com and depending on my roster we could have a chat and a ride. Theres only one thing better than a Moto Guzzi and that's...
My G11 had a very slow motion gravity attack onto his right side,he didn't fall right over but sure enough snapped the cast plate just above the rear brake pivot. $10 worth of 8mm aluminium plate and an hour or two later I had a gusset plate bolted up. I use a sandstone block under the sidestand...
Aha she cried as she shaved her wooden leg, the service disk which I was using says 200ml. BUT the owners manual says 170ml. I will open the level plug. Thanks for your helps.
Gday. I changed the oils and filter in wifeys 2013 V7 Stone . Motul 10W60 7100 4T in the engine, Penrite Singear 75W90 in the gearbox, and Penrite 85W140 in the final drive.I was advised by a trusted source to ensure I got the full litre, stated in the manual, into the gearbox by putting the...
Thanks for the replies.I contacted Peter Gray, a Mk3 owner, and he has been very helpful. I do not think my pipe(s) are cracked, but think that when hot the inners are contacting the outers. The movement marks at the ends (on the inside of outer) lead me to this conclusion. The brackets have...
