    Engine Guards aka Crash Bars

Has any one tried mounting highway pegs to the engine guards? I have very long legs and this would be the only reason I would install the guards unless I come up with a fold down telescopic version that mounts right to the block. Seems like the heads might be in the way..

Scott's How To Recover The 5 Digit Security Code. (CARC Dashboards)

You should only need to enter the code if the immobilizer has been activated. Otherwise just ignore it.

    Audace Igntion/Immoblizer Issue

Since the dash was still requesting a code every time I must assume no code was programmed.

    Audace Igntion/Immoblizer Issue

The reset worked like a charm. I also found out from Scott that if no code was ever set up, the default code is 00000

Scott's How To Recover The 5 Digit Security Code. (CARC Dashboards)

I just read through this entire thread and could not find what to do if I NEVER set my code, and then I turned the electrical portion of the ignition switch on my Audace with a screwdriver, causing the immobilizer to request a code that I never set up. Is there a default code? The bike is...

    Audace Igntion/Immoblizer Issue

Good advice, thank you. I have just disconnected the battery and will let it discharge. Regarding the code, I never set up a user code, which in retrospect was probably not a good idea. There must be a default code for the immobilizer other than the "service code" of 34534.

    Audace Igntion/Immoblizer Issue

So today I went to start the Audace and when I turned the key the instrument panel lit up as usual but there was no response from the starter button. I ride every day and had just parked it the night before, washed it and all seemed good. I checked all of the usual suspects, in neutral, yes...

    1400 Rear brake Adjustment

This may seem like a silly question but. How do I adjust the rear brake pedal height? It sits too high and I have to lift my foot off the peg to press it. Id like to lower it so its flush with the peg.

Audace 2016 - Bar End Mirror Install

I'm missing the bar end for my throttle so if anyone has a spare after upgrading im interested. Thanks!

    Question about brake light circuit

I have a 2016 Audace. I am adding an auxiliary strobe/brake light for better visibility. I would like to use the 12v power to the brake light as a trigger to a relay that will provide 12v direct from the battery for the strobe . Does anyone know if the slight draw from the relay would cause a...

    1400 longevity

I've seen some really nice Guzzi's from 20+ years ago that will continue to run and give joy to the owner. I absolutely love my Audace and after 37000 miles it's been very reliable. I plan to keep it and pass it on to my son when I can no longer ride. My concern for the future is the complex...

Audace, Eldo and 17+ Tour & MGX-21 F15K Matris Fork Kit info

Curious why the fork cartridge set for the California is nearly 2x the price of the kit for the Audace? I'm not complaining since I ride an Audace but are they the same components just in a different diameter ?

    California 1400 hanging throttle

16' Audace ABS/TC Lt on TC Flashing

My bad, GTM has a great inventory of hard to get parts and I am very happy to note this in future post's and purchases! As these amazing bikes age and will no doubt require more repairs and maintainence, the availability of these hard to get parts will be more appreciated, so thanks to Todd &...

16' Audace ABS/TC Lt on TC Flashing

Thanks to all who replied, I will have a new front speed sensor arriving tomorrow and based on the fault code this should remedy the problem. Since I won't have access to PADS at the time of the install I'm hoping I can reset the fault by disconnecting the battery and if needed, shorting the...

16' Audace ABS/TC Lt on TC Flashing

So the fault codes indicate a bad front wheel speed sensor. Where is the ABS control unit located? I do realize I can follow the speed sensor wire but if it's behind one of the side covers I'd rather not remove the fuel tank . The service manual does not appear to have a component locator which...

16' Audace ABS/TC Lt on TC Flashing

So after 33k miles without a problem the ABS and Traction Control lights came on during a ride. There was no noticable change in how the bike was braking or riding so I went home and decided to look at it in the morning. This morning the Lts were still on and during a short test ride the TC...
