Muchas gracias folks. Looks like I do not need one. I have dialed my suspension and was comfy with the ride, but a buddy of mine, Aprilia and MV Agusta rider, said I was nuts with no stabilizer. He obviously never rode a Griso. He made me question; hence my post.
Well I bought some helmet speakers from the Aerostitch catalog and hooked them up to my iPod. Needless to say at over 15 mph I cannot hear a thing with my plugs in and wind noise. I wonder if the speakers are exceptionally weak. I hope blue tooth communication devices have better speakers...
Just ordered a Mistral exhaust for my 8v Griso. Was wondering if I can drive it around a short bit before tuning without fouling anything. Don't know much about tuning is why I'm asking. Should I bolt it on and have it tuned immediately by local guzzi mechanic?
Thanks everyone. My only worry about the molded plugs is they won't get deep enough or fit tight enough. I currently have to get my foam plugs to the ear drum and then pull them back just a tad to ease discomfort, but I cannot allow air space between drum and plug because that air vibrating is...
To start, I have a bad case of tinnitus (permanent ringing in my ears), so earplugs stuck in deep are a must on any ride. Otherwise the condition will get worse and so will my life. So that being said, I am interested in a two-way communication device like a bluetooth headset, but do not want to...
Looking to buy some gear for my Griso 8v, and was wondering if anyone has ordered from these two sites:
Maxmoto : http://www.maxmoto.co.uk
or
Twigger's Motorcycle: http://www.twiggersmotorcycles.co.uk
I am sure there were no problems but you never know with overseas transactions. Thanks...
Calling all Mistral High Rise owners. Would love some feedback on the exhaust performance, sound, ease of install, looks, etc....
I am looking to purchase one but want to hear input, thanks!
Re: Does Anyone Make a Fender / Tag Eliminator Kit for a Gri
Gorgeous work, may try to do this myself. Can't see any wire work for built in LED's though. You just buy brackets and bend yourself?
THANKS MARK! Missed that one. I like keeping the happy thoughts flowing. 99 Degrees today, hard to be too happy about that! Taking a trip to the Motorcycle Mall in Belleville, NJ.
You can call this pointless, but I felt like posting a happy thread. Feel free to share your happy thoughts with your MG's.
Today after a long ride home from work in Long Island back to NJ, I propped my 8v up, changed her engine oil and filter. Washed her down and then waxed her paint. Silky...
Glad this thread is up, and after reading through it, I'm ordering some Bosch filters off of Amazon. They have the Hiflofiltro as well for only $3, but Bosch seems more reputable and will be here with free two day shipping for my spring change this week. Local shop sells AGIP as well, just had...
To original poster,
I own a Griso 8V, but have never ridden the others you mentioned. As to my Griso. I love it, and if I was riding your distance it would be a great bike to ride and very fun. I have ridden 350+ miles in a day and feel no discomfort on the stock seat or bars. The engine is...
At first I hated the "boat anchor" that came on the left side of my 8v, but the more I open my garage to take the bike out, the more I like it. The more I talk with riding buddies about replacing the exhaust, the more responses I get of "Why, that thing looks sick when following you?!" Torn, one...
