We are away on holiday and my partners Stelvio NTX 2013 starts to turn over but then won’t fire up! However we can jump it from another bike. About to go to store tomorrow to buy battery, but could we be missing something? Thanks We’ve just checked the battery voltage with the in-built voltage...

Hi.
In UK we have a magazine called Adventure Bike Rider. In issue 29 there is a great picture and some advice on how to ride and facts you may like to look at. check out www.adventurebikerider.com
If you can't see that then they recommend riding it from the NE side but it doesn't state if you...
Hi Tim
Yes its a sorry matter but at least Guzzi are standing by it and they did for my 2011 and my partners cams. I got the roller cams which are supposed to be the best according to my dealer (not sure they will fit your 2008 though) and you can see how the cam box looks by seeing my thread...
Update
My porous head issue is just about resolved but Guzzi said a BIG NO to replace under gesture of goodwill!
My repairer has got me a new head for half price so I am either going to get him to buy the bike less what I owe him or if not get it repaired and paid for (£1000.00!) and then sell...
Hi Guys
Thanks for the interest and your support. The situation is that MG have not responded yet with a yes or no that they will supply the replacement head FOC or reduced price or No gesture of goodwill and also hopefully contribute to the labour?
We await to hear!
Update;
I am very sorry to report that the suspected O-ring is not the cause and the only problem the dealer can come up with is that the RH cylinder head is POROUS!
I am absolutely gutted by this and can't believe it. Price in UK for a new cylinder head is just short of a Grand£! Plus fitting...
:( Sadly we may not be going to Sweden now due mainly to problems with both our Stelvios. Mine is a major and Susie's is a minor intermittent fault. My repair will be mega expensive!
If you want to know why see this thread...
Thanks guys for the replies.
I'm getting bike MOt'd tomorrow (Ministry of Transport test for road worthiness -yearly in UK) and will ask the service to have a look to see what he thinks. I will probably get my Guzzi specialist fixer to sort it as I am not qualified or able to take off the...
Hi All
I am perplexed! Some would say quite easy for me!
I have a small oil leak from the spark plug drain hole on between the sixth & seventh fin on right hand (sat on bike) cylinder. I reported this to a 20 year experienced Guzzi dealer and he said it was more than likely an o-ring problem...
Only 7 weeks today until the event in Sweden. For us its 5 weeks today when we leave England. Other than MrCanns is anyone else going from UK or further afield?
Hi.
I booked my ferry return for me and the Stelvio for £74.00 return from Dover-Dunkirk on DFDS seaways leaving last Saturday of June as Susie and I are having 2 weeks in Sweden touring around the south. I know its a long way down from the north of UK but may save some cash?
cheers Mark
