    DB-Killer removal from '23 V7 Special Edition

Sorry @Antares80 but I can`t take better pictures than this. My endoscope picture quality would just tell you if there is a bird in silencer :D I don`t have good tools to measure the inner tube size, but Bahco hole saw with guide disc made pretty precise 37mm hole. After measuring it seems...

    DB-Killer removal from '23 V7 Special Edition

Of course ! I will take pictures later but it`s pretty hard with phone and my endoscope has very low quality resolution, but I will try my best. The edge was very sharp after drilling but after smoothening it with dremel I can roll my finger around the edge without any cuts. I still don`t...

    DB-Killer removal from '23 V7 Special Edition

...is what it looks after the smoothing; Conclusion and about the sound; I would rather have wrote this after the test ride but it looks like the ******* rain is going to last until sunday (earlier they said it stops on friday). So all my opinions are based on running the bike in the garage...

    Turn signal swap on V7-850

I found pretty good instructions and looks like pretty easy job after all. I was thinking that if those connectors are standard type I could find them in local parts shop, but I don`t have a clue are those standard and if they are, what`s the name of the connector ? I always try to keep wiring...

    Turn signal swap on V7-850

I want to change the turn signals (both front & rear) but I don`t want to cut the original wires. What type connectors do I need to buy for turn signals ? In front the wires go under the dash ? How much I have disassemble to get there and is there connectors under ? Bike is V7 850 2023 Stone...

    V7-850 Mods Thread

We have "One more nails" too but in here it is only recommend for indoor use and I used it a lot in work and have to say that it isn`t good stuff :D

    V7-850 Mods Thread

I thought about that too. I just don`t have a glue ( :D ) what kind a glue should use and the selection is probably different in every country. Of course mechanical attachment would be nice safety backup but no way I´m going to drill the stock fender. Worst thing that could happen is that the...

    V7-850 Mods Thread

Funny coincidence; I bought "Pyramid" extension for front fender and today I tried it and deciced not to install. It needs drilling to stock fender and would look pretty "bulk" anyway. So I googled things and found out that V7 III has longer front fender. Was it just plug&play job or did it need...

V7 SE header paint falling off

I totally agree with you and that`s how I have understood different parts. English is a good language and personally I think there should be only english :D That way all the people could understand each other and it would be much harder to wage war etc. Thank god we have education system that...

V7 SE header paint falling off

It`s hard for non-english speakers to find the right words. What I have seen those can be called headers, collectors and exhaust manifolds :D And then there is mufflers/silencers and db-killers/baffles etc. :D But after all it`s most important that we understand each other. United by one...

    V7 Stone SE Mirrors

Sorry about your mirror :( I know that feeling. Thread length 45mm or the whole bolt ? Do you know the length of the bolt that tightens the mirror to "bar end cap" ? I was thinking to try black titanium bolts. They claim they should be pretty resistant to weather and uv-light but we`ll see...

    V7 Stone SE Mirrors

Do you happen to know the length ? I can`t measure them because I won`t be near the bike for couple weeks. I have to order some bolts and for some reason those mirror bolts being silver instead of black irritate me a lot :D Not a big deal because I can unscrew and measure them later but would be...

    V7 Stone SE Mirrors

BTW. Has anyone taken mirrors off from Special Edition ? I`m curious what size are the bolts that hold them in the bar end.

    V7-850 Mods Thread

Good job 👍 Can we get a photo from "whole bike" ? Somebody should definitely start making short fender for V7 850.

Does V7 III rear fender fit to V7 850 ?

Baak probably ? Same as mine. Haven`t installed it yet. I was planning to fill the caps with shaped ABS-plastic strips but it should be shaped two way which makes it difficult. Next try is with garage door seal :D We`ll see how that goes. When I get the OEM fender off I will investigate could...

    UpMap Q&A

I haven`t yet decided where to buy or will I even buy Upmap. Depends pretty much about those questions.

    UpMap Q&A

So with Upmap you can easily go back to stock map ? Does the Upmap store the stock map to file before updating new one or how the going back to stock is made ? If MG releases new firmware for ecu does it overwrite the Upmap firmware ? And then I have to either run with MG provided stock (new)...

    New Style V9 Dash Fogging

Seems to be pretty common problem in Guzzis. Has anyone tried to seal the dash better ? If the water comes from below like @scottmastrocinque said sealing it from the top won`t help and would just make the situation worse. So it should be done from under.

    Heated grips for V7 850 ?

Good choice. I saw a post of Koso Apollo (27-5869) installed to V7 850 and looks like the HG13 is pretty much same with just different grips. I also have HG13 on the shelf but haven`t installed them yet. Please post instructions when you have installed them.
