V7 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

I purchased my 2016 V7II Stone from Metro Motorcycles in Neenah, WI and had it shipped to my house. The price savings over Leo's including the shipping cost was well worth it. Great dealer to work with. We will definitely have to get out for a ride this Summer.

V7 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

Wow. That is gorgeous with those red accents. Todd, will that saddle fit my V7II Stone? It adds a ton of class to that bike with the cross sewn suede rider patch.

    V7C-S Suspension Thread

Just wanted to provide a quick update. After a very busy travel schedule and a harsh MN winter, I finally got around to installing my K-Tech Lite shocks and the Mupo Fork Spring Kit I ordered from Todd on my V7II Stone. Still dialing everything in, but out of the box this bike has been...

Missing washer on V7II Fork Tube Cap

During installation of my new Mupo Fork Spring Kit from Todd, I noticed that one fork did not have a washer between the Fork Cap and the Spacer, and the other did. The front end was off the ground so they were not compressed and I did not see anything fly out. I double checked the area to make...

    GTM Monster Builds

Todd, Looking forward to the unveiling. That emblem you created is awesome and would make a great keychain although I'm sure you have already thought of all the ways you could cleverly market your brand. Nice job.

Evap removal from a new V7 II

Glad it turned out well for you. Nice choice on the Agostini's. I love mine and the all black finish really matches my Stone's color scheme for that blacked out look. Removing the DB Killers is a must although my neighbors might not agree with me.

    MG Factory Map

Once you get the Flash Tool, it's very simple to follow the instructions. The ECU port is located under the seat and attached to the back of the airbox lid cover. It has a rubber dust cover that you will need to remove so you can plug in the connector to the Flash Tool. Just make sure you follow...

    MG Factory Map

I can second what Wisconsin v7 Racer says. Get the Flash tool, and work with Todd on your bike's fueling. I ended up going with the Agostini slip ons and the improved performance from Todd's maps has been fantastic. Highly recommended and a worth while investment.

Evap removal from a new V7 II

Forgot to mention that I have a V7II so there might be some slight differences in your set-up

Evap removal from a new V7 II

I just did mine. Since all the new bikes are using Oetiker Ear Clamps, which are intended to be permanent connections, I just cut the hose from the canister to the Y Intake and put a bolt in the end to plug it. As you mentioned, you already did that. I cut the tank venting line at the...

Evap removal from a new V7 II

Are you going to remove the Evap Canister or leave it there? You already have the first part of the surgery finished. The second part would be to unplug the other hose that runs from the canister to the tank at the canister end, remove the Orange/Blue tip over valve, and let the hose vent to...

V7 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

2016 V7 II Stone VIN# ZGULWUB06GM200428 Purchased from Metro Motorcycle in Neenah, WI. Great dealer to work with by the way. Accessories/Upgrades: Agostini All Black Slip Ons(A little more expensive than the chrome tip version, but I just think they look better on the Stone) Rhino Bar End...

    V7ll Racer cell phone mount?

I know I'm a little late to this thread, but I thought I would also echo what Blackbird said about Rokform. I love their mounts and also use them for my Mountain Bike. They even have a magnetic car vent mount I just purchased that is a fabulous little gadget when you want to use your smartphone...
