There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commerically supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. Sorry to have to do this, but we don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. Be sure to see our online STORE link above; GTM product purchases help support the site, or you can upgrade your Forum profile or DONATE via the link above.

I have the same issue with a 2014 Griso I purchased last summer with 5,000 miles on it. I couldn't even get a laser cutter to cut the key correctly. My solution is to make sure I don't lose the one key I do have... :|
I always had sportbikes before I bought my first California and had the same worry. The California, once moving, does handle very well for a big bike. I have no problems. Don't drop it and you won't need to pick it up. :)
My Ducati Monster 1200S does the same thing. Keeps you from wondering when the light turned on. Of course, if it told you how far you can go, you wouldn’t need to know when the light turned on. Then again, you know you will push it beyond the recommended distance to empty, you know you will.
I felt the same when I bought my first MG back in 2017. The California Custom fit my need for a straight up touring bike, versus the Ducatis I have owned since 1992. I liked the Custom so much, I bought another one. Thought I would get a spare, only because they have stopped making this type...
This is my first touring bike (both of them), and I love it! If I wish to go straight up sport, I take the Ducati M1200S. If a full sport ride is needed, I take the 1999 Ducati 996. The new sportbikes are way too much for me. The Ducati 851 usually stays in the garage. I just like to look...

Hello all. I recently purchased my father's 2014 California Touring, to match up with my Cali Custom. (I know, a little redundant, but a hellufa deal). I am attempting to put Agostini silencers on it, but can not get the stock mufflers off the headers. There are only 1800 miles on the bike...
