    Red Code Card

I have the same issue with a 2014 Griso I purchased last summer with 5,000 miles on it. I couldn't even get a laser cutter to cut the key correctly. My solution is to make sure I don't lose the one key I do have... :|

Eldorado 1400 too much bike for beginner?

I always had sportbikes before I bought my first California and had the same worry. The California, once moving, does handle very well for a big bike. I have no problems. Don't drop it and you won't need to pick it up. :)

    Distance to empty

My Ducati Monster 1200S does the same thing. Keeps you from wondering when the light turned on. Of course, if it told you how far you can go, you wouldn’t need to know when the light turned on. Then again, you know you will push it beyond the recommended distance to empty, you know you will.

Happy Days are Here Again (Lift Table)

Very nice! I am going to get one of those lift tables for my 1962 Ducati 250 Monza project bike. My father has rebuilt over 20 bikes on his lift table. Thanks for the wheel clamp upgrade idea!

My brand new 2016 Audace update!

I felt the same when I bought my first MG back in 2017. The California Custom fit my need for a straight up touring bike, versus the Ducatis I have owned since 1992. I liked the Custom so much, I bought another one. Thought I would get a spare, only because they have stopped making this type...

    Tire weirdness at 3200 miles

The bike is a 2014 California. It’s a Dunlap D251F. I assume it’s OEM because the bike has only 3200 miles on it. I bought it from my father, and runs them to the cords....

    Tire weirdness at 3200 miles

i am seeing some strange cross hatching on my front tire at 3200 miles. Is this printed or cords? It is weird that an OEM tire would have this?

    24K maintenance

Nothing beats my Ducatis’ single sided swing arms for easy rear wheel removal.

    it's named touring

This is my first touring bike (both of them), and I love it! If I wish to go straight up sport, I take the Ducati M1200S. If a full sport ride is needed, I take the 1999 Ducati 996. The new sportbikes are way too much for me. The Ducati 851 usually stays in the garage. I just like to look...

    Separating mufflers from header

thanks jbhotchkiss! Yes. I was able to get all the fasteners....even that bugger by the driveshaft under the pannier bracket. Had to modify a 5mm allen wrench, but i got it. I thought that was the hard part, until trying to get the muffler separated. I will try the mallet.

    Remap for Agostini silencers

I am attempting to put Agostini mufflers (don't ask...already have that problem posted on an earlier thread..) on my 2014 Cali Touring. Will I need to remap?

    Separating mufflers from header

Hello all. I recently purchased my father's 2014 California Touring, to match up with my Cali Custom. (I know, a little redundant, but a hellufa deal). I am attempting to put Agostini silencers on it, but can not get the stock mufflers off the headers. There are only 1800 miles on the bike...
