Intermittent CEL / Dealer Labor Question

Thanks Todd! You're a real help, I appreciate it. I wish I'd have thought to post sooner, I passed through your neck of the woods this past weekend. Rode up to Lebec, through Los Padres, down the 33, down PCH, then the Snake and back onto PCH.

Intermittent CEL / Dealer Labor Question

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, cracking the throttle has been routine. It's a bit more than a crack of the throttle required often - need to have quick idle on for a bit til warm, then can turn it down. I never really thought of it as much of a problem, just figured my bike didn't like to not...

Intermittent CEL / Dealer Labor Question

Hi All, Just wanted to get some feedback on some dealer service performed. I was in need of a new front tire so figured I might as well get a CEL checked out that had been coming on sporadically. Went to pick up the bike and was told the bike wouldn't easily start or idle when I dropped it...

    Custom mods

Love the 'injection protection' MAS pieces! The sidewall writing is pretty sweet too.

    tiltmode43's V7 Classic Build Thread

Random IG pic from earlier this week. Not much has changed on the bike, sadly. Been focusing on cars again. Ah, haven't been on the forum in a while! Nope, don't have to remove front tire, it's a pretty basic install.

    tiltmode43's V7 Classic Build Thread

Thanks, agreed! Yeah, that's kind of interesting they list it as chromed steel, I never saw that. The piece is definitely polished aluminum and can be purchased in a satin finish as well -> http://www.masengineering.it/MAS/index. ... Itemid=236 While chrome is MUCH easier to clean than...

Nice DIY fender delete! Heh, spoiled out here in Cali, haven't stopped riding since "winter" hit

    tiltmode43's V7 Classic Build Thread

When modifying cars I usually have a build thread but for some reason, never started one for the Guzzi. Most photos can be found at http://www.flickr.com/inghostcolours or on IG @violetnites The idea here is to document all the steps taken throughout the modding process, as well as have a bit...

    V7 by Cafe Racer Dreams

This bike is terrific! There's just something about scrambler style V7's with knobbies that I absolutely love.

Anyone see the Cafe Racer TV episode

Haha haven't seen it, but a friend told me about it. Sort of silly, but cool they include the Guzzi nonetheless :] Even funnier is this comparison: MV Agusta Brutale 675 Triumph Street Triple R Honda CB500F Suzuki SFV650 ...and you guessed it, the Guzzi V7 Stone...

Agostini Racing Headers for Late Moto Guzzy V7

Sometimes the act of modifying your vehicle and making it a bit more unique with these brands is half the fun. With the money spent on our bikes + mods most could have gotten something much faster but then again, the price-gain ratio from mods isn't always the main consideration when making...

How accurate is the V7 Speedometer?

This was already discussed in the Norge and Griso sections but curious if anyone here has insight on the V7. How accurate is the speedo on our V7? My guess is they read somewhere around 5% high but a buddy of mine suggested it would be closer to 10-15% high. Anyone that uses GPS care to chime in?

V7 Classic + Triumph Thruxton Pics!

*Mod - if this happens to be in the wrong place, feel free to move this thread* Hi All, just wanted to share some pics from a (semi) recent ride a buddy and I did. Quite a few issues sprung up for us on this ride (falling kickstand while on highway, separating tread on tire, + more) but it was...

Has Anyone Dealt with Newport Italian in Newport Beach, CA?

Re: Has Anyone Dealt with Newport Italian in Newport Beach, Ended up returning to them and honestly, their customer service has won me over... the entire staff is friendly, work is completed very quickly, and the price beats Pro Italia by far in my experience. I will be servicing my bike...

    2010 v7C - Deformed / Swollen Tank

My original tank swelled up pretty large, but not quite that bad. Hope you can figure something out OP, my solution was buying another tank (which was also plastic, from a local Guzzi aficionado). If anyone wants a swollen, but-not-too-swollen, tank in white, PM me :D

    aluminum fenders painted/powdercoated

But the aluminum is so pretty! Powder coating to an 'exact' match might be tricky. Generally, powder coat finishes are not created the same way a painted finish is created thus having something be a perfect match is not easy. That said, Matte Black would be easier to 'match' than say a shade...

Has Anyone Dealt with Newport Italian in Newport Beach, CA?

Re: Has Anyone Dealt with Newport Italian in Newport Beach, Not sure how busy Pro Italia's service department is but Newport Italian offered a decent price and a quick return. If you want to talk to someone who knows the ins and outs of Guzzis, Bobby @ Pro Italia Guzzi/Triumph Sales would be...
