Socal GUZZI Group Ride May 17

Just got a fresh Q3 for my Griso so I am primed to go. And since my wife is now getting up to speed riding her own Gladius she will be with us too. My Griso is happier going gunfighter. DM

Current options for narrower bars (shorter rider as well)

Re: Current options for narrower bars (shorter rider as well Hey Trog. I noticed that my 1100 Griso has the Same forks as the Aprilia Falco. Since it sounds like I have the same concerns with riding position that you have I am going to get the low rise sport-touring clip-ons that come stock on...

    Griso 8V Newbie

When I got my 2007 1100 the forks were up in the triple clamps to the fourth line. I dropped down one more - to the fifth line to quicken up the steering. On a recent ride there was a fellow Griso pilot that had his forks to the sixth line. Not exactly an easy mod but I'm glad I did it. DM

    Another bar question

The Griso has the same forks as the Aprilia Falco. Getting the Falco bars is a potential option. The only place that I found to get them is from AF1 in TX for $139. each. DM

    Steering Damper for Griso

What? Steak? Here? :) Yes, actually, I do want a steering damper for my Griso. I also want to dispose of the stock handlebar and put on Aplila Falco sport-touring clip-ons. Last time I had an "off" on a bike the bars shook out of my hands and I got five fractured ribs out of it. Thanks for...

    Why not a group ride

I need to look at this one more often. Just did a ride with the apriliaforum loonies. I was the ONLY Guzzi. and my wife asked "How come we don't do this with Guzzi riders??" How about Next Saturday? Oct 18 I live in Apple Valley, Ca we could do someplace I have never done like the area around...

    Griso Handlebar Risers again...

this is the wrong direction. Griso bars should be lowered and narrowed. I'm hunting around for clip-ons to mount above the triple clamp. Yes, I did lower my front end one notch down the forks which helped the steering a LOT. :) DM

    Considering a Griso

my 1100 usually tells me 39.2 mpg up to 42.5 mpg. This last weekend I was riding around the heavy suburban sprawl near Los Angeles and the instrument told me 26.4 mpg. I rode 110 miles and gassed up and put in 3 gallons. my mpg indicator may be a bit off?? :) DM

    Finally, my own Griso

I just bought a 2007 Griso that only had 5700 miles on it. I took it to a mechanic that I once worked with (back in 2000) and he did a tune up. I had him check the drive shaft splines for grease. There was NONE. Same issue with a Stelvio he had in the shop at the same time. NO GREASE on the...

    Considering a Griso

First. for the OP. Get the Griso!! Second. about the mileage. I am getting 32-33 mpg when I am forced into the Purgatory of city traffic near Los Angeles. But when I am at home in the desert in Apple Valley/Victorville I get 39-40 mpg. I have a lot of long roads with few stops that have...

    Tyres for Griso

Wellll, I just got my Griso a couple of months ago. I installed Dunlop Q3's last week. I like them. But I don't have enough info to talk about how well they last. Now that I have good fresh tires I can finsh fiddling with my suspension adjustments. Whoo Hoo. My rear shock is fairly overwhelmed...
