    2008 Stelvio centre stand.

People, Are there two types of centre stand. I see one advertised that has a triangle in its bracing for the foot lever part. Whereas mine is more solid with a circular hole. My foot bit is landing on the ground unsettling the stability so that means the arm is bent. 60000 miles of on and...

2008 Stelvio ( no longer ) hates the wet!

So Wednesday was pretty wet in East London. 12 miles into my commute home Stelvio starts running real bad. Dash starts messing around. Feels like it is off a cylinder and at 3k starts to run OK. Dash is still doing crazy stuff. Friday, bike has been drying for 36 hours after not willing to...

    Footrest pannier mount.

The locking arm for the pannier is secured by a bolt and a round headed stud that looks like you aren't supposed to remove it. Well I want to but I also would like the choice of replacing it when that time comes. How do you remove it ? Cheers Min

    Dash display disappears in wet

So 4 weeks ago we bought a 2008 Stelvio with 50000 miles on it. Thought as a try out I would take it on a 10 day 2000 mile ride to Scotland. First day and a half i rode about 400 dry miles with a wee bit of heavy rain for 30 or so but everything was great. Hit some big rain later on 2nd day up...

    Breather pressure

Just wondering if I am pressuring my crankcase. If I pull my dipstick out there is a fair bit of oil blasting out. If I put my finger on the main crankcase breather that exits the le mans type box there would be very little pressure. Question arises as I am replacing rear crankcase seal, again...

You know the way it is; you are minding your own business, sitting at your regular 82mph down the motorway/freeway and Mr " No Imagination, so I bought a BMW GS" ,(with his two little look at me I am so smug lights) comes past at about 87. So I gave him a mile or two and then started winding...
