    GTM ECU V7 & V9 Flash Tool

4,000 mile review in three sentences. There are three different versions of the V7III: 1- Stock: Good bike. 2- With the V7III GP-Megs (https://www.guzzitech.com/store/product/gt-rx-ss-v7iii-v9-gp-megs/): Outstanding bike! 3- GP-Megs + Todd's custom ECU map: As close to perfection as one could...

    GTM ECU V7 & V9 Flash Tool

Yes, on the day I got the bike home. It is always the first thing to go. The only other performance mod was the GT-Rx Megs.

    GTM ECU V7 & V9 Flash Tool

It is my turn to add my review and there’s no point in repeating what the others wrote, so I keep it short: 1- It was as easy to install as everyone mentioned. 2- The improvement was immediate and equal to upgrading B&W TV to color (for those who remember). 3- Todd says it adds ~20% power and...

GTM V7 III Exhaust options & Dyno runs

Funny thing is that after a friend of mine rode my Guzzi with the new Megs he traded -in his Harley for a V7III Stone, and now he is ordering a black set of Megs for it. These pipes sell bikes! :)

Hepco Becker - got them from this STORE tab above as well.

GTM V7 III Exhaust options & Dyno runs

Quite honestly since the break-in period the bike has been living between 4,000 to 6,500 RPM constantly, so it is quite consistent. The engine feels as if some restrictions were lifted and as you say - it really "Sings"!!!

GTM V7 III Exhaust options & Dyno runs

Thanks Todd - that makes sense. I forgot to mention that based on my fuelly app I also gained about one MPG since installing the Megs.

GTM V7 III Exhaust options & Dyno runs

What more can I say other that these Megs are AWESOME?! They are about 2/3 lighter than the stocks and about 10" shorter. They look really good, they sound even better than they look and it feels as if I got 20% more power. The throttle response is smoother and the bike just feels like this is...

V7III Special First Service - Cylinder head toque numbers?

Completed first service this weekend at 950 miles. Even before the service it felt like the bike "Opened up" at about 850 miles. No drama to report, but while checking the valve adjustment I found the left head clearance on both intake and exhaust valves to be way too wide (over five 0.mm) while...

Thank you Todd and Kevin! This explains why it isn't even mentioned.

V7III Special First Service - Cylinder head toque numbers?

Hi, I scanned the entire 2017 V7III (all bikes) Service Station Manual for the cylinder head torque numbers, but i couldn't find any reference to it. Does anyone knows what they are, and where I can find them? Also, Kevin M mentioned in a V7II thread that the head screws come over-tightened from...

V7 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

After months of anticipation my 2017 V7III finally arrived last week, and a day before picking it up I decided to switch from the blue model to the black model that was luckily arriving at the same time. I has a Stelvio before for a few years, but I never tried the V7II, so I cannot compare the...

    V7 III - Has arrived

Thanks for the update Todd! I was holding my breath once you wrote that the stock mapping was good, but then I saw the follow-up, and I know that there's not going to be a choice but to get the updated mapping from you once you perfect it. Still biting my nails waiting for my V7III Special to...

    Aux Fuel Tank Questions

This is good information brlawson - thanks! From what you are saying here I gather that the aux gas tank actually works as an Independent tank with its own pump, so in case the main tank's fuel pump fails you can run on the aux tank only- This is pretty cool. I was under the impression that the...

    Aux Fuel Tank Questions

Waking up a sleepy thread here... I own a 2011 "small tank" Stelvio and find it very annoying to look for a gas station every 100 miles or so. After reading all of the posts in this thread and in other forums I'm really on the fence here. I got my Stelvio really cheap, so upgrading to an NTX...
