    Conrod Bearings

Bike was making a strange sound, delivered to shop on a trailer. 500ks away from next service which was done first. Then header pipe fixed as loose pipe internally. Also rollerized as showing signs of wear. Then sound still happening so sump dropped to find conrod bearing coatings worn. Moto...

    V7 II Racer or Griso?

Awesome news, take your time adjusting to the power and you will be fine. I test rode one for 20min and loved it, then a few days later test rode one with a zard exhaust and bought it. As easy as that....best purchase ever

    V7 II Racer or Griso?

I was first interested in the V7 cafe racer, though extremely glad i ended up with a Griso. Didn't take long to adjust to the well handling, powerful Guzzi. The intimidation disappears as soon as you begin to ride it. I also own a SR500 for smaller round town rides if i choose. Griso all day...

    Isle Of Man

Thanks Godfrey for you reply. Yes, expensive place during the TT, and understandably difficult to get around on the biggest track in the world.... Part of my plan is to also see a Moto GP race before or after the event in Europe. Not sure which track, though the race at Assen was impressive.

    Tyres for Griso

P.S. Got 12500 ks on the pilot 4's. Still 3.5mils of tread left on both, though changed for the South Island tour. Shop said they would hold the old tires for spares.

    Tyres for Griso

Just fitted some Michellin Road Pilot 5's to the griso. Off to Queestown next week (3500ks), so will give my thoughts on return. (Mid March). New tires always feel great, though tires pumped to 34/36 (2 pounds above norm for RP4"s)and felt very firm returning from shop in showery weather...
