  • There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. Be sure to see the GTM STORE link above; ALL product purchases help support the site, or you can upgrade your Forum profile or DONATE via the link above.
  • Be sure to see the GTM STORE link also above for our 700+ product inventory, including OEM parts and many of our 100% Made-in-SoCal-USA GTM products and engine kits. In SoCal? Click the SERVICE tab above for the best in service, tires, tuning and installation of our products or custom work, and don't miss our GT MotoCycles® (not) art on the BUILDS tab above. WE'RE HERE ONLINE ONLY - NO PHONE CALLS MADE OR RECEIVED - DO NOT EMAIL AND ASK QUESTIONS OR ASK TO CALL YOU.
  • Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. We really appreciate every $ and your support to keep this site ad-free. Create an account, sign in, upgrade your account, and enjoy. See you on the road in 2024.

    Relays Under the Cover...?

First a note: On a scale of 1-10 my electrical knowledge is about a 3.5...so be nice. While chasing an odd "no start" situation on the 1400 T this morning, I pulled the right side cover off the bike and opened the two boxes that said RELAYS on top. There I found 6 identical relays, with no...

Case of the missing running lights....

Well this is no fun....after nearly 15000 flawless miles my rear running lights have gone missing. Everything else is back there, turns on both side, brake lights work with both front or rear application and the tag light is as bright as ever. Yes the "headlight" switch is on, as indicated by...

    Nasty Fork Oil...

Finally got around to installing the Matris spring and spacer kit on the 1400 Touring this weekend while doing the 10,000 mile service. (yes I know. I do the services at 5000 miles, 'cause i'm old and its easier to remember) For what it's worth, the forks come out of the triple tees with just...

    Sealant on the pipe connections?

When removing/installing mufflers, header pipes etc...is anyone using a sealant on the connection or just a slip fit and clamp it down? I remember that there used to be a copper/silicone sealer that was available...haven't seen it in years. Currently I just use plumbers tape and polish the male...

Three days, 954 miles, and a rendevous with three dangerous sisters

So a couple of weeks ago, my wife Terrye (aka The Pillion Princess) announced that she and our daughter were going to do a mom/daughter weekend down in Houston...dad was not invited. Never one to miss a golden opportunity, I grabbed my Butler Motorcycle Map of the Texas Hill Country and planned...

    2016 MGX-21 "Flying Fortress"...now it has a name!

If I am late to the party with this...sorry. The March issue of "RIDER" magazine just arrived. Pictures of the newest Big Block 1400. This looks very much like the styling exercise we saw about a year ago with with the red valve covers, bat wing fairing, and the 21" front tire. Now appears to...

    PC-V, AT300 & 7SM Flash...Rideability comes to the Big Block

I have to admit, I was concerned when I dropped the 20+ large for my Cali 1400 Touring. See, I'm not really a cruiser guy; despite the fact that I have owned two HD's over the years. What my head likes is power. Yessss, that mystical mix of horse power, torque, chassis dynamics and gearing...

6000 mile service - gaps, plugs, a tip, thoughts etc.

This thread could be considered an extension of several others here...Todd if you want to merge this one into the related threads, please feel free to do so. I am in the process of doing the 6000 mile service on my Cali14, while using the opportunity to install Todd's electronic engine...
