    Cali Custom Bar Options...Eldorado?

Todd, did you use the existing cables or have to replace them? Thanks.

    Cali Custom Bar Options...Eldorado?

Thank you both Lou and Fast. I have installed just the risers and while they make some difference, unfortunately it isn’t enough. Glad to learn that Fast was able to install the touring bars (AND risers) using stock cables. Fast, did you have to re-route the cables to make it work and are you...

    Eldorado C Bags

I have c-bow bags on my Custom and couldn’t be happier. My only complaint is that the brackets mount at an angle and therefore the bags are not truly horizontal. Nevertheless, it is something I am now use to and while it would be possible to modify them, I have chosen to leave them as is.

    GT Bar Risers

I am just about to try rotating the bars and anticipate having to adjust the levers, etc. When rotating the bars, did you move the controls?

Hi, quick question: What is the correct torque setting for the bolts securing the handlebars? Thanks!

Here you go Paul...if you would like to see them from another angle, let me know:

    GPS Installation

Please let us know how you fair; I use this connector on my BMWs and believe the draw/amperage is very low. Nevertheless, if it is sufficient to power a USB charging port, your solution would be ideal.

    Medium Windshield Feedback

These are the 'Nevada' bags. For the Eldorado, I think the 'Liberty' or 'Buffalo' styles might be better suited. I'm sure Todd can get them for you. Also, I looked at the Flyscreen but, truthfully, don't like the look and did not anticipate it would provide the same wind protection.

    Medium Windshield Feedback

Thanks for the f/b Joe. I will keep your idea of using spacers to adjust the angle of the shield in mind.

    Medium Windshield Feedback

Thanks Paul, that's very helpful. Like you, I find riding the Cali at anything over 100 kph very uncomfortable. Hopefully, the medium windshield will do the trick and not present too much buffeting. I also hope to mount the OEM lights i.e. Once the exchange rate is a little more favourable...

    Medium Windshield Feedback

Thank you Dave, Paul and Frank. I just placed an order for the medium from AF1 Racing. Apparently, the medium windshield is 16" tall and as Frank suggests, should enable me to see over it while providing good wind protection. I will post a pic once I have it installed. Thanks again.

    Medium Windshield Feedback

I hoping I could get some feedback regarding the 'medium' height OEM windshield. I have been debating whether to get the medium or tall. I am 5'8" and prefer to look over the windshield i.e. Rather than through it. Please note, it will be mounted on a California 1400 Custom (see pic). Many...

    New Owner - 2010 Griso

That's very helpful John, thank you. Its left me wondering whether I made the right decision to buy the bike and secondly, whether its safe to ride until I get it checked. Thoughts?

    New Owner - 2010 Griso

I just bought a used, fully documented 2010 8V with ~13,000 kms. I previously owned a 2007 1100 and traded it for a Bonneville. After over a year and in spite of also buying a Cali 1400 recently, I was determined to get another. And so when this opportunity presented itself, I grabbed it...

Cal1400 REGISTRY & Pics thread - ADD YOUR BIKE

Hi Dave, The saddlebags are leather (see: http://www.motomachines.com/Nevada-leather-bag-set--28-liter-for-C-Bow-only_p_1296.html). I haven't ridden with them in the rain as yet and planned to buy the separate rain cover for them just in case. They are extremely well made; the leather is...
