Thank you Dave. I will look for the S on the fork slider. Joe

    Cal 1400 Suspension Thread

I can see no adjusters on top of the forks, just a one piece cap with a hex head on it. Does that mean I need the FM109 KS kit?

    Cal 1400 Suspension Thread

Am looking to upgrade the suspension on my 14 Cal Touring. The Matrix 40D STD rear shocks seem to be the right fit for me but I'm having trouble figuring out the front forks. Two applications appear in the store; the Matris FM109 KS for $249 a pair and the F20M109K but I'm not finding reviews on...

    Oh No - Not Tires

8100 is reasonable for me though. I got 7500mi out of a set of Dunlops. Talking to the Dealer this week about replacing the rear tire on my Touring, he gave me a couple of other options; the Avon AV72 and the Bridgestone EXEDRA MAX. I have no experience with either. I would appreciate any...

Rack for 50 L Cali 1400 Touring top case

Shad makes a rack that mounts on their top cases but I have been unable to determine if it will fit the California 1400 Touring Top Case. The MG case has more padding on it than standard Shad cases. Shad has been unhelpful to my inquiries. Has anyone mounted a rack on their case and if so...

    Headlight

Is there anymore information on the LED's? The last post on this subject was almost a year ago. I'm considering going with the Sylvania Silverstars on my California 14.

    Headlight Modulator

Her is an alternative. I have them on my touring. They flicker. http://www.lights.skenedesign.com/PB_Features.shtml?

    Warped front rotors?

I,m pushing 11 k miles on my 14 Touring and have been dealing with the pulsing for 6 k miles. It is worsening with the mileage. On my next service I will be arguing to get my rotors replaced. My BMW K1200 gt has 65000 miles and brakes as smoothe now as it did on day one.

Thank you Moto Guzzi for giving us that option. Mine came off after a few rides.

California 1400 fuel tank capacity & MPG question

I've gotten anywhere from 32 to 40 mpg on a tank full and at 8888 mi am still trying to sort it out.

    Decent Cycle Cover

I have had an E-Z touring cover for 20 to 25 years and carry it with me everywhere. It covers the top of the Cal Touring including the windshield, lights and the tour box. Look at this video to get a sense of size: http://dev.eztouring.com/e-z-touring-how-to-video/

What warranty work have you needed?

I just got a call from AF1 saying that my 50L box is in. I ordered it about 9 months ago. Two came in since then, but with cracks and were returned to MG. I was told that this delay is due to the shipment to the US of a container of the white boxes painted with the wrong color formulation...

    The Good Oil

Yes, I'm going to check back later with Amsoil too. If you get any updated information, please post it here.

    The Good Oil

I use Amsoil in all of my vehicles but when I called Amsoil about an oil for the Guzzi, they recommended straight 60 wt. The manual recommends 10 w 60 and I'm not comfortable with the Amsoil recommendation so have been using Motul, the dealers oil.
