    V85TT Mods Thread

I've just fitted a Power Bronze touring screen to replace the OE short screen. I run with the new screen set at maximum height, no buffeting, but the wind does catch the very top of my helmet. I'm 6ft with a 31 inside leg, so shortish legs and longish body. If I have the screen lower it causes...

    V85TT Registry and pic thread

I finally got back to Moto Guzzi three weeks ago with my new V85tt. Now covered 750 miles, so first service is due soon. I'm so loving this bike.

    U.K. - North West

I will be back in the Moto Guzzi fold on 6th July, that's when my new V85tt is being delivered. I've had a break from Guzzi since 2014 when I chopped in my Stelvio for a Yamaha XTZ1200. I often enjoy a run up to the Forest Of Bowland. Nice little cafe at Slaidburn. I'm usually out and about on...

    V7 850 handlebar risers

I'm seriously considering coming back into the Moto Guzzi family, I sold my last Guzzi, a Stelvio in 2014. I'm very interested in both the V9 Bobber and the 850 V7. I've had a couple of test rides on the V7 but find the bars a bit too low, does anyone know if 20mm risers will work OK without...

    Stelvio Spotlamp Bulb

The right side spotlamp bulb has failed. These are the standard (Hella?) lamps fitted on the engine crash bars. I'm unable to find a spec for this bulb, cant find it in the owners manual. Can anyone shed some light on this (pun intended) Thanks Alan.

Made my own Stelvio center stand!

Hi Jon, the roads around Stockport look very rough these days. I suppose it's due to those government cutbacks:D

I agree the Hull route does save an awful journey down south. I've often used the route to Zeebrugge and found the ships comfortable, and the food quite palatable.

New tires for my 2009 Stelvio HELP!

I am currently using Dunlop TR91 Trailmax. I have found them to grip well in all on roadconditions, but mileage is about 5k when I change them. They were ok on easy trails in the Dolomite mountains. I haven't been too impressed with the OE Pirellis, they're ok but didn't instil confidence as...

Yes, I went to the one in South Wales last year, it was very good. They were a friendly crowd from all over the UK and Europe. I met some of the guys from this forum. I rode down with a mate who now has given up bikes, then met up with Paul (MrMcCanns) en route and rode home with Jon (Compagman)...

Stelvio big hole in the midrange at about 4k rpm

Didn't the early Stelvios have a pronounced power step at about 5000rpm, which could make the bike feel a bit flat lower down the rev range ( something to do with having a Griso engine originally?) I thought that as from about 2010 the cam profile and fuelling were altered to give a more linear...

It would be a shame to head for home after the rally. I could be tempted to head across to Norway and north up the coast for an extra week or so. The trouble with Norway though is it's extremely expensive, both for food and drink, and the fuel is bl+*dy expensive considering it's supposed to be...

Hi Jon I'm not too good at the moment I've been laid up for several weeks with a slipped disc in my lower back, and have had two recent deaths in the family as well. So I'm really looking forward to having a decent ride out as soon as I'm sorted. I had been hoping to get my exhaust downpipes...

Hi Jon, glad to hear you had a good trip. So Sweden next year, hopefully I'll be able to get to that one. I've often fancied going to Nordcap, I'm now chewing over the possibility of tying the two into one trip. If not the rally should be doable for an extended long weekend.
