There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. I live in Tellico Plains & travel to Chattanooga all the time to see my daughter's family. Plus, I belong to the Chattanooga BMW Club.
I'm about 10 minutes off the Cherohala Skyway if you're headed this way, send me an email: tellicomoto@mac.com
My dealer is running into a snag installing the fairing.
For those of you that have done this, is the fairing supposed to touch the gas tank?
The support arms are so tight, that there is no room to get the fairing on with either the old or the new replacement gas tank on.
What are...
Thanks for the info! I just ordered one of the STUCCHI LUIGI SPORT FAIRING KIT FOR V7 CAFE, GREEN
[PART NUMBER: MG333G] from MG Cycle. They have them in stock & should ship it on Monday. My bike was going Green this week anyway due to a warranty replaced gas tank. The white was nice; but...
FYI the TN Guzzi Rally is this weekend, not sure if you guys knew it:
Cherohala Rendezvous Nov 11 - 14th
Tellico Plains, KOA Campground
Tellico Plains, TN 37385
Weather is 13 degrees warmer than normal this year! I was in a t-shirt mid day yesterday. Sunshine on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday...
Maybe I can sneak out again & we'll get a chance to ride together this time. I'd like that. You're posts about your V7C are some of the reason I'm riding one now.

You could have the wheels re-laced with alloy rims. Make them lighter and go to 17" front & back. Take off the rear foot pegs & holders, they're a lot of dead weight. Get the Fast By Ferracci carbon cans to ditch the steel cans.
Too bad someone doesn't make a 2 into 1 exhaust with a...
Looks like there's another option out there:
Performance: The Moto Guzzi V7 Classic gained 3hp by fitting the Staintune mufflers. The biggest improvement was noticed in torque from 3000rpm to 5000rpm, making the bike far more responsive and a pleasure to ride.
Weight Savings: There is...
The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Silver Excel Rims (with the Red logo) , Red hubs, and Super Spokes! I'll get 17" front and back.
Woody's can make them tubeless too.
Only problem is I promised wife I'd pay off the bike ASAP. So the wheels will have to wait...

Thanks! I've been looking in the "Small Block" Forum for a few days now looking for mods for the V7. It's been educational. Too bad Guzzi doesn't have much up on their web site for the V7 yet.
I'll take a better picture up on the Skyway this afternoon for the Forum...
