    Valve adjustment questions

Thanks for the quick reply John. My plan was to use the rear wheel with the transmission engaged to facilitate the engine rotation. If I rotate the wheel forwards (like the bike is rolling forward), which direction does the engine spin? And for that matter, clockwise while I am looking at the...

    Valve adjustment questions

Hello there community! I am going to adjust the valves on my 2007 Breva 1100 (2Valve version). I have seen some good instruction videos on line but still have two questions. 1. What is the gap measurement for the valves or where can I find the information? 2. Do I need to rotate the engine...

Thank you John. Grrrrr. There must a reason guzzi uses aluminum. Must be to keep corrosion from becoming a problem. It's just so darn soft!

    Transmission drain plug

update. Went out to remove the drain plug to see if maybe I had damaged the plug. But the plug will not back out of the plug hole. It spins and never backs out. So, it sounds like the threads in the transmission case are stripped? Can that happen? What the !!!!! Is going on.

    Transmission drain plug

need some help. I drained the transmission and differential fluids last weekend. Reinstalling the transmission plug has become an issue. I set the torque wrench to 11 .5 ft lbs and started tightening the drain plug. My problem is that the plug is not stopping. I keep turning and turning and it...

Starter Removal advice - got any?

So the starter removal and re-installation went by really easily. Thank you for all the advice. In case anyone "accidently" strips the head off the starter cover mounting stud. I found a temporary solution. The mounting stud (top) is aluminum. A small allen head screw runs through the...

Heated Grip Connections? Pics 2007 Breva 1100

Alex, I did heated grips on my 07 breva. I also contemplated using the stock wiring but decided that current draw was too much of a concern for me. I used the wiring kit that came with the grips and ran the wires under the tank to the neck to connect the grips. The hard part for me was getting...

Starter Removal advice - got any?

Hey all. I have installed the GT y-pipe for my Breva 11100 (2007). One thing I noticed was a the O2 sensor wiring was too short for the sensor to be installed in the new location on the new y-pipe. I was able to coax some more wire out, but the wire is tight. Todd (GT legendary moderator)...

My brand new '15 Norge won't turn over

In the original post, you indicated the battery voltage as 12.7v and 13.3v (before and after battery tender). Was this reading using the bike voltage readout or did you use a separate voltmeter. I own a 2007 Breva and have noticed the volt meter on the bike reads 1 volt lower than actual...
