    Hi Guys ... thanks for the responses. Here in OZ I have been in touch with RYCO and guess what? RYCO make a Moto Guzzi specific oil filter ... RMZ126. Thanks to a friendly Autobarn motorcycling salesguy (High St Maitland)I made this discovery ... bought the Penrite 10W-70 oil from there...

    ok ... will get the 10w-70. Oz1200Guzzi, a question on oil filters - what brand and model are you using if not the OEM filter? I am considering a Mobil M-102, this is a rather smaller physical body than the filter on bike (white-unknown type) or RYCO Z632 ... these are Mazda CX-7 filters...

I am about to use HPR 10W-50 Syn in my 2012 Norge on the basis that the high performance 'expensive' bikes have recommended oil of 10w-40 Syn (Ducati Multistrada, BMW RT)... browsed oil manufacturers sites and noticed those...
