    Throttle/Fuel issues

@Nico Bollini honestly I can't remember, sadly I haven't been riding in quite some time but I can't recall having any issues the last time I rode.

    Final drive leak thread

I had the same issue and initially thought the same thing, thought it was a seal. At first it didn't appear like the drain plug but after letting it sit for a day or two I realized the oil was building up and dripping from the plug. Turns out I over tightened the bolt and a few of the threads...

    Final Drive Oil Leak

Putty knife....genius. Worked great, pulled the bolt and looks like only the threads on the bolt were damaged. Thanks for the tip!

    Final Drive Oil Leak

I've got a 2013 V7 Stone, when I changed the oil in the final drive I must have over tightened the drain bolt and there's been a leak since. My problem is the bolt spins freely and will not back out. Any tips/suggestions for removing the bolt? I was going to attempt to drill it out but wanted...

    Throttle/Fuel issues

Replaced the spark plugs and adjusted the valves. Went for a test ride and it's still an issue. Back to the drawing board.

    Throttle/Fuel issues

Thanks John, actually I've done one before just not on this bike. I took an engine rebuild class about a year ago where I tore down and rebuilt a small Ninja 250 engine. I'm just a very visual person and couldn't find an image from the front of the bike of what was being adjusted. I should have...

    Throttle/Fuel issues

Wow, didn't realize how long I've been dealing with this. Had to order parts and find the time to get to work. It helps that I finally got a lift to make things easier. Last week I put on the new gasket on the header. What's the proper direction for the spacers? There's a flat end and the...

    Throttle/Fuel issues

I'm experiencing a weird issue that I'm not too sure of the cause. The issue first happened right after my ECU was flashed at GT. When I left the bike acted like it wasn't getting fuel almost like it was choking. Power was sporadic feeling like it was getting fuel then not then getting fuel...

    headlight/ tailight replacement bulb

There should be a small screw holding the ring on if memory serves me right.

2011-2016 V7 Racer CNC Passenger Pegs

That looks way better than the set I got at AF1. I'm mulling over adding brass bits to my bike so it's all black & brass. Those pegs in brass would look sweet.

    headlight/ tailight replacement bulb

I'm thinking of upgrading to something like this.

I use a HelmetLok which works pretty well.

    Won't start....

Thanks again for your help with that Todd. Made it back home yesterday and there haven't been any further issues.

    Won't start....

There's definitely a short somewhere. It starts up but if I stand it up or turn the wheel it resets or shuts off. By reset I mean it turns off the the dash and gauges act like when you first start it.

    Won't start....

I had this happen once or twice a few months ago. You turn the key to turn it on and nothing happens. The dash doesn't light up. The gauges don't move. Then I turn the bars and try it again and it's fine. Today I was riding from San Francisco to LA and found myself stopped at a light. When...

Removing Baffles on Arrow Slip-On Exhaust on a V7 Classic

So glad I found this thread, been debating doing this mod. I ride into The city every day and while lane splitting I notice no one can hear me. Not the case when I'm behind some of the louder bikes that commute in.

    Bouncing Speedometer

Thanks for all the tips and suggestions. It decided to start working on its own after a few stop and starts. I'll keep an eye on it.

    Bouncing Speedometer

Hi all, yesterday while riding to the Quail Gathering my speedometer just started going out of control. The issue started after about 30 minutes into the ride. It was fine then we stopped briefly, after going I noticed it would jump past 140mph then drop back and hover around my actual speed...
