Test ride shot from sunny England

Two friends rode a V7 and V9. Both undecided, plonkers. I absolutely love my V7 The new models won't appear until new year so there are some great deals on V7's in the UK at present.

New bars and levers on my V7

Looking down on the bars and levers when sitting on the bike they ooze quality, the Renthal Fatbars looking and feeling so much better than the standard setup. Width wise they are almost the same as I was happy with the standard length, I actually trimmed 2cm off each end of these.

    UK V7 Riders

So I have had my V7 for nearly two years now and not come across another rider on my trips out in Sunny Essex / Suffolk. I even popped in to the UK Guzzi day on Sunday afternoon and didn't see a single private owned V7. So how many UK V7 riders frequent the forum and where are you all hiding...

    New Rack for my V7

So I wanted a rack for my V7 but found the Guzzi offerings et al too big and bulky for my needs. No intention of putting a hideous top box on, I just needed an extension to the back of my seat and little bit of side bar to keep my Giant Loop rear bag secure. So here is the result, bear in mind...

    MotoGP

Valentino did good. He has been the most entertaining and one of the most successful of all time and I hope he is still racing when he hits 40. As for JLO, top racer but a bad looser who needs to chill out.

    Trimming OEM Fenders

Small angle grinder to cut the fender to basic shape then a sanding disk in the grinder to form the shape and finish. I used a dremel type tool for grinding the honeycombed bits. I tried to follow the shape of the original as I am not keen on the chopped off look. I seem to remember that...

    Trimming OEM Fenders

Did my own cutting to the rear fender making it shorter and taking the spacers out of the indicators. Moved the rear light cluster up so the back end now looks much neater and more modern. Took a few hours. The ribbing in the under fender is tough and awkward so take your time. Some of it...
