    Seat on V7 III Stone

When I head out for an extended ride on my Griso (and the same with my wife's V7), we throw on a sheepskin buttpad. Been using them for years on all kinds of bikes...warm in the cooler months, cool in the hot months and transforms those nasty OEM motorcycle seats to a comfy place to put your...

    Griso gear and diff oil

Not to throw a damper on the interchangeability of the GL4 vs GL5 gear lube recommendations, I suggest you research whether or not your tranny and differential has any "yellow metal" (brass, bronze or copper) components within...like some used for some synchronizers. GL4 is compatible with...

    V7 Shifting/Neutral Problems

My wife's 2014 V7 Special had the same issue with the clutch cable. I tried the cable over the hook idea, but found that the pull at the lever would bind. Allowing the cable to "rest" where the factory had it routed provided the easiest pull until the cable was heated by the...

    Clutch Doesn't Disengage When Hot

If a decision is made that the clutch cable is the issue and a suitable substitute cannot be found, then consider having a cable made which has the spec's needed to address stretching under heat. I've had to do that on one of my wife's bikes (not a Guzzi) and a heavier and higher quality cable...

    GTM Griso QC Meg

I received my QC Meg muffler a couple days ago and installed it on my 2015 Griso. Even though the fit to the Y-pipe is a bit tight (no gasket needed), the installation was completed is short order and without any issues encountered. I have since taken the bike out for 2 test rides and it...

V7 Charging issues / Dead battery -- PLEASE READ

Based on all the great input here, I installed the FH020AA kit today on my wife's 2014 V7 and the job was fairly easy. Voltage is a steady 14.1v now. Wife's happy....so, I'm happy.

V7 Charging issues / Dead battery -- PLEASE READ

Well, my wife's VR on her 2014 V7 Special needs to be replaced and did some checking with Jack Flemming on his VR replacement kit (based on a referral in an earlier post here). The kit is for the single phase alternator supposedly used by these bikes and requires minimal wiring changes. He...

    Greetings from Turkey

Welcome Selim! I agree with Rudy and John. Your issues are probably related to the tank replacement. The rust in the old tank may have damaged the fuel pump and/or loaded the filter with rust which alter the fuel flow and pressure, and eventually stop the bike if there is enough rust in the...

V7 "Class 3" Error code - Faulty Ignition switch

Not sure if this helps or not, but my wife's 2014 V7 had the Class 3 code displayed and after replacing the battery the code was no longer displayed. I know there is a code for a bad/dead battery, so it is a little confusing to see an unlisted code appear. The dealer had no explanation either...

GTM CNC Oil Cooler Covers Info

I just purchased the oil cooler cover to replace the factory unit (plastic) that tends to warp. It looks great and the fit was perfect. Every Griso needs one of these!

    New Member from Tennessee

Wanted to say "HI" from Middle Tennessee. I've been riding for 50+ years on both off-road and street bikes. Did some off-road racing back in the 60's and still enjoy riding primarily my new Grizo. It replaces a 2007 VFR and joins my wife's V7 Special. I look forward to my time on the forum.
