• Ciao Guest - You’ve landed at the ultimate Guzzi site. NEW FORUM REGISTRATIONS REQUIRE EMAIL ACTIVATION - CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER - Use the CONTACT above if you need help. New to the forum? For all new members, we require ONE post in the Introductions section at the bottom, in order to post in most of the other sections. ALWAYS TRY A SEARCH BEFORE STARTING A NEW TOPIC - Most questions you may have, have likely been already answered. DON'T BE A DRIVE-BY POSTER: As a common courtesy, check back in and reply within 24 hours, or your post will be deleted. Note there's decades of heavily experienced Guzzi professionals on this site, all whom happily give endless amounts of their VALUABLE time for free; BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL!
  • There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. Be sure to see the GTM STORE link above; ALL product purchases help support the site, or you can upgrade your Forum profile or DONATE via the link above.
  • Be sure to see the GTM STORE link also above for our 700+ product inventory, including OEM parts and many of our 100% Made-in-SoCal-USA GTM products and engine kits. In SoCal? Click the SERVICE tab above for the best in service, tires, tuning and installation of our products or custom work, and don't miss our GT MotoCycles® (not) art on the BUILDS tab above. WE'RE HERE ONLINE ONLY - NO PHONE CALLS MADE OR RECEIVED - DO NOT EMAIL AND ASK QUESTIONS OR ASK TO CALL YOU.
  • Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. We really appreciate every $ and your support to keep this site ad-free. Create an account, sign in, upgrade your account, and enjoy. See you on the road in 2024.

    Flaking paint on crankcases 🙁

The dealer that I spoke of has long gone out of business and I know if this occurred with my local dealer they would do the right thing, and indeed my best friends partner has just bought a V100, so I'll be keeping a close eye.

    Flaking paint on crankcases 🙁

There is Guzzi history to this, as I had a new 2002 LeMans with the matt engine paint and it started to fall off after blistering and Guzzi offered several options, the first was a full set of luggage including racks and tank bags, the second was a full carbon accessories package, the third was...

The "Morecambe Missile" about to win the Production race after a hug, Steve Plater and daughter going to win the Senior after a hug, Rossi and Ago dishing out prizes and a weird looking Rossi picture at the Grandstand

    Isle of Man visit

The Hotel where we stayed. This was the result of us booking a homestay and finding that the owner had put 5 Czech guys in our reserved room and gave us his sons room in a single bed, so after heading into Douglas with a cheery "you'll never find another place now", we ended up at the Tourist...

    Isle of Man visit

I went in 1975 and 1976 and again in 2009, and would recommend it not just for the racing, but to go over for a longer period to cover practice and really get a feel for the place. The first two visits had mostly the smell and sound of two strokes, except in the production races, where the...

BC, Did Moto International take over the Chilliwack shop?

Secret Agent reports....International are taking over the Mountain View Kawasaki/Suzuki/KTM/Honda store as they are moving across the highway and this a ready built store for a Vespa/Ural/MV/Triumph/Zero/Moto Guzzi/Aprilia/Indian/Gas Gas /Husqvarna store. You know, a specialist dealer with...

    Road salt and winter riding

I think that there may be a little salt on the road today as I decided (probably wrongly), to take part in a care meeting a little north of Vancouver in Boston Bar, going up the canyon on Highway #1. It was supposed to be 7C, but it reached a high of 2C and a low of 0C during the day, and the...

People just keep on surprising, and thanks Harvey

I was riding the Stelvio home last week and snow was threatened by late evening, so I avoided the main highways, as a tumble on a backroad is a better proposition than a crazy main road, whereupon the snow became so deep that after a scary downhill right, I just couldn't risk it to carry on, so...

    Road salt and winter riding

In BC, the car rules don't apply to bikes as there are no specified winter tyres, so you can ride anywhere, but outside the Lower Mainland you may be "advised" by the police to turn around. I'm off up the Fraser Canyon today to Boston Bar for a meeting, hopefully it's just rain and 6C.:wait::wait:

End of ‘23 grievance, to a better ‘24

I just read this and for Piaggio to come down on you is unforgivable. I wish that I could spend more in your store as all your products are of excellent quality and my 2 Guzzis are all the better for the parts from you that have been added to them. Just little old me wishes to thank you for...

    Another one bites the dust…

In a world far away, when everything was fresh and new and I believed people who were "experts", I handed over my 2006 R1 to a man who added a Power Commander and then installed one of his "special" maps, one that wasn't available to his regular customers, not because he felt I could handle the...
