    My "new" LeMans V

Guess I should update. Got the Odyssey battery and it's stout! No troubles starting the bike now, even after sitting! Need to find someone within a day's ride who is good with Dellortos. The bike runs pretty good, but it's not quite right at idle and just off idle. The old LM-V is quite...

"ULTIMA EDIZIONE" LEMANS . WHERE ARE THEY ??

Technically speaking, the seventeen 1991 bikes that came to the USA are: 1000 LeMans CI. They have red frames and wheels with metallic black bodywork, which is unique to these bikes. They are not Ultima Editions.

Im about to buy another Guzzi 1000. Info required .

Yeah. As mentioned above, the factory had a run of assembled, but unsold, motorcycles in the early '90s. One thing they did was paint 17 of them metallic black over the red frame and sent them to the USA for model year 1991. 1992/1993, the British Importer came up with the idea of a limited...

1991 LeMans 1000 rear shocks replacement

Thanks Todd! I'll think on it. Do you think the piggyback versions will fit under the LM-V bodywork? I'm going to take a look and see what it looks like under there.

1991 LeMans 1000 rear shocks replacement

It's a 1991 USA version of the LeMans 1000 CI. Last year for the Tonti LeMans in the USA. No number plaque, but 1 of 17 imported. I believe what you're looking at is an "Ultima Editione". Those didn't come to the USA.

    Agostini's exhaust for the V11 Sport/LeMans

Jorgen, I like the exhaust. Here are my impressions, so far: 1) larger diameter tubing 2) thinner wall tubing than the factory pipes 3) lighter than the factory exhaust 4) surprisingly solid and stable without the crossover mount (though I did save my factory crossover in event I decide to...

    Agostini's exhaust for the V11 Sport/LeMans

out with the old... in with the new... A little test ride in the cold rain, and all seems to be well... no more probelmatic front crossover. no more evap canister. the pipes are larger diameter, and though I wish they were plated or polished, they're pretty in a purposeful sort...
