How to remove Breva 750 Airbox ?

I will use the intake tubes that went into the airbox so as to keep the same intake length and then use a tube filter between the 2 tubes. It works well on all my big block tonti's. I will construct a breather box for the cyl. head and crankcase vents.

How to remove Breva 750 Airbox ?

That's what I may end up doing. I was just trying to see if it was possible to get it out intact without disassembling the whole bike.

How to remove Breva 750 Airbox ?

If I have to remove the frame from the engine just to get the airbox out, I don't want it for that very reason alone. So as far as you know it will not come out the rear with the wheel and inner fender removed? I was hoping to find out to be able to save my self some unnecessary effort if it is...

How to remove Breva 750 Airbox ?

I have removed the tank, side covers, battery so far and I do not see an easy way to remove the entire airbox. It looks like it might come out if I remove the rear wheel and part of the rear fender just behind the battery. Has anybody done this and is able to clue me in if this will work? Or is...

    anyone lower an old stone?

I have my forks dropped an inch on my 2000 Jackal. You could go to a slightly lower profile tire and also change or cut down the seat a bit. All less expensive than new shocks. I prefer the handling with the dropped forks.

    Jackal Front Fender

Thanks, I know, as that is where I got mine from. I traded my Jackal fender for the Cal Aluminum fender. But now that the Cal Aluminum fender is destroyed, I am looking for an alternative because I will never spend $458 on a fender. Maybe if it was gold plated..... The Triumph fender is a...

    Jackal Front Fender

Let us know how it fits and which model fender you got and what mods were needed to make it work. I had one like in the above picture until someone backed a truck into it and cracked it into a dozen pieces. So I am in need of a fender too.

Internal Fuel Pump - Pics and a Question

This is what I did on my Cal Vin 2007. Other models may vary. I modified my set up to some degree by moving the filter outside of the tank. I know this is controversial but I did it for the following reasons. The parts needed are the same with the exception of the addition of some extra regular...

    Lowered Tank

I'm in the process of mounting a T3 tank on my Jackal which will necessitate locating the regulator and also probably removing the frame tabs that hold the rubber donuts for the Jackal tank mounting.

    03 Cali EV

It is the phase sensor on the front left of the engine. The ecu needs a signal to know when to fire a spark and this sensor provides that. Easy to test. the resistance should be about 680-700 ohms. The sensors are available online from ebay and a couple other sources for about $30 to 40.

    Rear-sets for Jackal/Stone

I am 63 next month but I find it more difficult to ride in a cruiser position than with a bit of forward lean and my feet below me and I also feel less in control in a cruiser position. I also have a Cal Vin that has the stock handlebars and seat but I don't really care for the riding position...

    Rear-sets for Jackal/Stone

You already got the pegs in the right place now and they have been working fine for years, so why bother redoing them. If we were doing 'show bikes' then neither of ours would be acceptable. I actually think not many are interested in what we have done with our peg setup. Most would spend...

    Rear-sets for Jackal/Stone

I used 2 pieces of 3/8 inch thick aluminum bar that was 2" x 12" (cost $12) and cut and shaped it using the Jackal rear peg and muffler support as a template. I then had to mount pivots for the shift and brake levers. I used 5/8" OD steel pipe for this. I cut off the rear part of the shift...

    Rear-sets for Jackal/Stone

It doesn't look crude to me, it is a good idea. The brake pivot was a sticking point for me in deciding to go a similar route. If you can give me any more pointers on its fabrication that would be great. Did you use a bushing? Did you put zerk grease fittings on the pivots?

    Rear-sets for Jackal/Stone

I had a similar idea before seeing your design, coming from the other direction with an aluminum bar that also extended back to the muffler mount being retained to the frame with the 2 bolts below the swing arm pivot. I would probably use 3/8 x 2"x12" and cut out a bit of areas where the full 2"...

New air filters for a 1974 V7 Sport

I use a foam sock filter with a spring inside to keep it from collapsing. I get a long one and cut open the opposite closed end and shove each end of the spring over each velocity stack and use hose clamps to secure it. So it's one filter between the the 2 cylinders where the air box used to...
