Great thread guys, thanks. Bike is in the shop now for both the clutch/actuator issue, and the final drive leak issue. I previously also had the oil leaking out of the brake fluid res issue. Lot of problems for a relatively new bike, geez.
Suddenly the other day, my clutch became super hard to operate. I also noticed that in first gear, with the clutch engaged, the bike would want to roll forward without pressure on the brake. I took it to my local shop, and the said they adjusted the clutch cable, and remapped the engine. They...
Hey guys, i'm going to try to route a east coast to west coast to east coast journey in the next 2-3 months.
My ride is a 2016 V7 ii Stone ABS. It's been well kept, meeting regular maintenance scheduling. Before I take it over to my dealership for their advice, i was hoping to get some advice...
Thanks Todd! Like so many other before me, i am now actively looking to update my own V7 ii Stone ABS suspension. I find that living in Brooklyn, and often riding the perilous BQE - i can never really relax because I am constantly worried about being thrown off my bike (160lbs). The shocks above...
To my surprise, this little wind screen is actually very effective at higher speeds. I assumed it would be purely cosmetic, but it is nicely functional - especially on the highway.
i have a new (700 miles) 2016 V7 Stone, and so i have filled it up 4 times (reserve light to reserve light)... 100 miles, 218 miles, 355 miles, 526 miles. The last fill up was almost all highway miles, the others are mostly city. The mileage seems awful. I'm an new rider, riding around in...
Just putting it all together.
Recently I purchased a V7 Stone ii ABS. I am in the process of switching some parts out - both functional & cosmetic (there isn't really too much that can be done). Anyway, i will eventually switch out the Stones rearsets to a pair of Agostini's (black).
Seems...
Hi, first post! I'm about to drop some $$ on a 2016 V7 ii Stone, so looking though these forums is extremely helpful (thanks for that!). One of the things I am having the dealership do is swap the stock pipes for Agostini titaniums. When I do this, will feull adjustments need to be made? I am...
