    No compression

I would think that you are looking in the right spot. Low compression can only happen from a limited number of things. Worn out rings nope you have compression without the cams in place. Failed head gasket nope same as above. Hole in the piston or cylinder wall nope same as above. Burned...

    Tires!

I picked up my new Torres at the post office today. I had not been there in a while and they had been sitting there for a couple of weeks. They look good so now to get them mounted. I bought a tire balancer and I think I will try a 2x4 method I saw on YouTube to break the beads. I need to get...

    Tyres for Griso

Personally I like the Michelin pilot road four tires much better than the three's. They now have a pilot five that might be worth a look. I have the four's on a 1100 sport and the three's on a Centauro the four's feel like they are glued to the pavement in comparison to the three's

    No spark

Bike ran great parked in garage due to a snow storm. Snow melted and streets were clear three weeks later would not start. Yes by the plugs it has been running a bit rich. Unlikely that it is flooded. I took the plugs out after a few trys to start it nothing wet. I wondered about the plugs...

    No spark

Have not had much time to look at it but I put some high grade plugs in it yesterday band I started and ran really sluggish. I had to keep it at about two thousand rpm and it did not want to rev freely and when it got warm it stalled. Wondering about timing. I do need to do some voltage tests as...

    No spark

My Cali iii does not seem to have any spark I checked the fuses and it ran a short time on one cylinder then shut off not to fire again. I changed the headlight. I don't think I bumped anything but perhaps. Any ideas. I switched spark plugs.

    Tires!

Thank-you everyone for your help and ideas! I ordered a pair today. I thought a lot of things over. I know the Harley Davidson crowd around here all really like Dunlop's, high mileage and they can carry lots of weight. Ditto for the Bridgestone. I read about the shinkos I have never paid any...

    Winter ride

Well a strong Chinook had been blowing across southern Alberta the last few days. Chinooks are warm westerly winds. The snow melted off as well as the ice in the back alleys so I had the opportunity to take the 1100 sport I bought out for a ride today. First impressions are that it has a chip...

    Used V7ii or New V9/V7iii

Myself if I was going to be riding two up I would get the griso. That is just me but I would want the extra torque of a bigger engine. Call another Guzzi dealer. I believe there are dealers that will pay your plane ticket if you fly there and then you could ride it home. The Pacific coast...

    Tires!

I will look up continental s web site the online seller u was looking at did not have a listing for the front tire so I guess they just don't sell that one. Interesting that you are thinking that tire over. I really wanted to try a set of radials, I would be interested in what you are thinking...

    Tires!

    Guzzi won't stand behind product

. You should be able to see locktite in the threads of bolts. You can also taste it! I would recommend against that but if you have ever held a bolt in your mouth while you are putting another one in you can taste locktite. Lol.

    V11 LeMans vs BMW R1100S

So where do you think the scura, Nero corsa, and ballibio. Fit in?

    V11 LeMans vs BMW R1100S

The really cool thing about guzzis is you rarely see another one on the road. When you find someone who knows what they are you are in for a long visit! Of coarse you already know that with you griso. The hunt for the one you want will be part of the pleasure of owning it in the end. Good luck...
