Hi there Ralf, welcome to the forum. Lots of beautiful places to see in your part of the world especially from a bike.My wife and I were over in the Swiss Alps in 2014 on our motorbikes (V7 Classic and Nevada 750) doing Col d' Liseran,Stelvio . I now have the Breva 750.........nice and light to...
My wife is a classic V7 owner over the last 5 years, and we hide in Scotland along with a number of other V7 riders.I have a 750 Breva. Often we visit the pennine group for camping week-ends and run outs.:)
more like honey on the syrup..........sweeeet,I think their design lend themselves to be customised to the owner's whim, until you meet a hard liner that is!
Interesting read, what a find Hawghauler, you were obviously in the right place at the right time when this gem turned up. So, special events and run-outs for this bike then?
Just finished replacing my heated grips on my Breva 750.The old ones had a broken wire in the moulded area of the set so thought I'd treat myself to a new pair. The destructions I got with them mention that glue will not be necessary but I am not convinced really, especially with the throttle.I...
Not for hack'n around the odd mountain either I suppose? Never mind ,I'm happy with the wee 750 Breva I've got........had a Guzzi Nevada for a few years, strong, pacey wee bike but things tended to vibrate off unexpectedly when on a trip to europe,so I kind of lost heart with it.
Rain is a bad word over here, seems to be more prolonged as each year rolls in...........if only it would get warmer LOL! My waterproofs are pretty good tho'..... cheap and effective, they do the job. You have an impressive collection of machines and I like the look of the R1200c,nice looking...
New England eh.....beautiful country-side there and perfect area for ride-outs.A number of years ago,had a couple of days in Stowe,Vermont.Lucky to have a cousin in Montreal,we drove a round trip,by car unfortunately but a nice experience just the same.
Your making me envious now talking about...
Enjoyed the read, had a chuckle at the comment about the Police with radar guns........ I'd like to recommend a book called, "In search of greener grass" by Graham Field.........
Sena for me as well, used it for two years now bike to bike with no problems at all, both my wife and I have used Cardo, which was returned after two or three days and various cheapies.
good to meet you Hawghauler, yes it was a nine day trip around the Swiss and French Alps via Holland ,Germany, Austria Switzerland and Italy. It was a bit ' intensive' at times, but.......... .......worth it in the end.
