I finally had some time with attempting to fire up the engines on three of my 1100 Sport's after they had been sitting idle for the last 12 to 24 month. I drained and replaced the old fuel, and both the red 97 and the silver 95's engine fired up without any issues. However, one of my 1997 yellow...

I did a lot of work to this bike since I bought it about two month ago. I bought and installed a new air box to replace the pod filters with, I did a full service replacing all fluids and filters, I replaced the original brake lines with new braided lines, new throttle and clutch cables, I...

I had a 1985 LM IV, which I sold to a friend of mine, and that also bike had a 16" front wheel. I like the 16" front wheels, which for me help the bike turn faster, especially when the wheel is matched with a great tire. So yes, my new LM IV also has the 16" front wheel, which works great for me.

How cool is this! This picture showed the original Moto Guzzi Lake Como factory assembly line while it was loaded up with one red and then followed by a full line of blue 1995 1100 Sports! The gentleman who took this picture visited / toured the factory in early 1995, right after he received...

I finally had some time this week with servicing the 1997 1100 Sport, which I bought from her Canadian owners last October. This bike was highly modified both mechanically and cosmetically by her first Californian collector / owner. The cam was balanced and the engine blue printed, the fuel...

I sold my 1985 LeMans about two years ago to a good friend of mine here in Raleigh, and I guess seeing this bike again a couple of days ago rekindled the LeMans flame deep within! :) Make a long story short: I bought me a 9.6k original miles 1987 Moto Guzzi LeMans 1000SE earlier today. Here is...

I'm glad that you got to take your bike out for a ride.... :) We are also suppose to stay at home and only leave if it is absolutely needed..... So yes, I can't see how I could possibly harm anyone while I'm riding a motorcycle...... Our police / government stated that they would not pull...

Had a great time today riding this beauty around for a couple of hours on this perfect weather afternoon. Too bad that everything is still closed, since I would have loved to have me a glass of wine with a light lunch along the way! Soon.....

I actually talked to Adam from Staintune about the Carbon exhaust system on my yellow 1997 Sport, and that exhaust system was a special "One-Off" fabrication, which was specifically ordered for that bike. But the only difference between the Ducati 900SS and my exhaust system is the mufflers...

I wasn't going to buy any more 1100 Sport's, but those bikes seem to somehow find me now...... so, I just bought & picked me up a 1996 1100 Sport from Tampa Florida over the weekend, which I’m going to use probably as a donor bike for a restoration project of one of my other 1996 1100 Sports...

Hi Scott, I would love to find out on who made this exhaust. The header pipes and crossover are definitely made by Staintune. I was told that the original owner of this bike had many parts for this bike custom made, but I don't know the original California owner, so it's just hearsay for now. I...

The Canadian 1100 Sport finally made it home early Sunday morning after I bought her four month ago. This bike turned out much nicer then I expected her to be in. There is not a single scratch or flaw on this bike. This bike also rides really nice. The engine was blue printed and the Cam...

Insane, maybe just a little..... I'm actually getting ready to sell six of my now 12 bikes. Five of the six I'm selling are 1100 Sports, which will leave me with "only" five Sports left in my collection. I'm selling a silver and maybe a blue 1996, and two yellow and a red 1997. Believe it or...

Someone told me about this 1997 1100 Sport for sale in Canada. Which Transmissions Had Straight Cut Gears?

I know that I am replying to an older thread, but here I am trying my best to get away from straight cut gears on my 95 & 96 model Sports, and others want to install straight cut gears and thereby changing their bike's transmissions into a whining, possibly metal shaving producing, and gear...
