    Brake recall

My 2016 Audace passed last weekend. Took maybe an hour or hour and a half from the time I pulled in. Not sure as I just sat down at a table they have and read a book. No clue what they did to actually test it, most of the time was probability them waiting for an open bay to pull it into.

Why Should I Trade My Harley for an Audace

The 1380cc moto guzzi's are great bikes, sounds like you have some small things to work out with yours which has sat a few years but after you work through those it should treat you well. One thing I'd do is bug your dealership and see if they will give you a copy of the service manual. Mine...

    Audace Oil consumption

I'm with Paul, I have a 2016 audace and it doesn't burn or loose oil, at least not yet(hoping it never starts).

    New updates to my Audace

Got some more pictures of the flyscreen? Looks good on it.

    Audace brilliance

The audace tires my throttle hand as well and it isn't the one I trashed(as a teen I broke 18 bones either 22 or 24 times in my left hand). That being said yea the bike handles far better than you would expect it to. I test drove the one I ended up buying and was shocked at how well it did(I...

    Instrument panel fogging

Scoot also does a few brands of scooters as well(where they started) and is working on adding some other brands of bikes. Glad you had good service with them. The owner does generally seem to care when issues come up but I know they have had to do some cleaning over the last few years. Luckily...

Audace the California VS the reviews.

Most of the reviews of the audace I read or watched were positive. To me its biggest problem is that it is not a distance bike due to how the bars are setup. It isn't sold as a distance bike though, they call it an urban touring bike. I will say though I agree it is a fantastic bike. I...

New 1400s any known issues before I buy an elderado?

Overall the 1380 cc bikes overall are pretty good. Only real issue I can think of is the issue with the instrument panel can fog up due to moisture under the glass. My audace does have this issue but it isn't bad. Apparently it can get pretty bad on some though. Aftermarket isn't as big as many...

Spark Plug change - special tool?

I can't remember if I used a standard socket on mine or a spark plug one but it was something that was in my craftsman portable set. I think I used the standard 14mm socket.

    Gas Mileage

It can help you find issues. My bonneville had its millage drop off pretty badly recently. Ended up running an adaption on it after balancing the throttle bodies. Yea talking about fuel mileage in a form for the cal 1400 series bikes is kinda funny as they really don't do good. I didn't buy...

    Gas Mileage

I use fuelly to track my Audace as well as my triumph bonneville. I don't break it down via city and non-city riding as I usually end up doing both on a tank and don't care to try and keep track past that. Average is 31.2 over the 1078 miles tracked(bike has a few more than that but is new and...

    1st Service

I had to adjust a few valves when I did the first service on my audace. They were not badly off but they did need a slight adjustment. Also the manual says change the gear box oil but not the drive shaft. I'd recommend changing both. I've seen a thread on here where people said Moto Guzzi...

    Oh it has a fan

Its been in the high 90's around here(going to be like 102 Monday) and I've gotten stuck in stop and go traffic and have yet to hear mine come on. I'm not sure if I would hear it over the bike and through my full face helmet. I will say the heat coming off the bike when it is that hot out...

Foot Rest to Foot Peg Conversion

Yea AF1 had put together the part numbers to convert it and sold the kit. It was like 1500 bucks or something though. They should be able to order all of the parts to make a new kit for you. Your local dealer could do the same, from memory all they did was put together all of the parts off the...

    MGX-21 - C14 Prototype

I do like the fully blacked out forks on this vs the audaces as I'm not as big of a fan of the shiny top end of the front forks on it. I am kinda curious how this bike will handle to dual lcd screens on the panel. You could have a lot of extra data shown.

Cal14 - Self cancelling turn signals

Yea I only noticed it did it when I read the owners manual. The bikes will also warn you if you ride on the brake for a long time(first with a warning then I think they will flash some idiot lights). I tested the turn signal feature, don't feel like riding my brakes to test that idiot light.

Cal1400 REGISTRY & Pics thread - ADD YOUR BIKE

2016 Audace vin ZGULCU007GM200045 Currently still sitting at the dealer waiting on a few accessories to show up(I have another bike so I don't care if it sits there for a bit). I'll post a picture once I take delivery.

    VA Guzzi Riders?

I just bought a 2016 Audace in Richmond. With any luck I can pick it up next week(waiting on some accessory parts to come in). For those in the central Va area you will see me on it or my Bonneville T100 Black. I know someone else in the Chesterfield area with an older Eldorado(70's although I...
