• Ciao Guest - You’ve landed at the ultimate Guzzi site. NEW FORUM REGISTRATIONS REQUIRE EMAIL ACTIVATION - CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER - Use the CONTACT above if you need help. New to the forum? For all new members, we require ONE post in the Introductions section at the bottom, in order to post in most of the other sections. ALWAYS TRY A SEARCH BEFORE STARTING A NEW TOPIC - Most questions you may have, have likely been already answered. DON'T BE A DRIVE-BY POSTER: As a common courtesy, check back in and reply within 24 hours, or your post will be deleted. Note there's decades of heavily experienced Guzzi professionals on this site, all whom happily give endless amounts of their VALUABLE time for free; BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL!
  • There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. Be sure to see the GTM STORE link above; ALL product purchases help support the site, or you can upgrade your Forum profile or DONATE via the link above.
  • Be sure to see the GTM STORE link also above for our 700+ product inventory, including OEM parts and many of our 100% Made-in-SoCal-USA GTM products and engine kits. In SoCal? Click the SERVICE tab above for the best in service, tires, tuning and installation of our products or custom work, and don't miss our GT MotoCycles® (not) art on the BUILDS tab above. WE'RE HERE ONLINE ONLY - NO PHONE CALLS MADE OR RECEIVED - DO NOT EMAIL AND ASK QUESTIONS OR ASK TO CALL YOU.
  • Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. We really appreciate every $ and your support to keep this site ad-free. Create an account, sign in, upgrade your account, and enjoy. See you on the road in 2024.

Norge rear brake pedal disapearing under your foot?

Well that's discouraging, as my 07 suffers similar, inexplicably random air intrusion that bleeds right out. Is there a special bleeding procedure for this system?

    Battery terminal corrosion mess

I sold Interstate for 25 years, an independent dealer for half that time. Their motorsport line used to be Yuasa with Interstate stickers on them, good batteries. Then Johnson Controls bought them out, moved manufacturing to Mexico and suddenly all Interstate car batteries are Exide crap. I...

Evap removal from a new V7 II

Yeah, I liked the smell of raw fuel too... back when lead sweetened the funk.

    Battery terminal corrosion mess

Ahh, the woes of liquid lead-acid cells... Upgrade to a pre-activated AGM battery and kiss green fuzzies goodbye forever. My personal favorite:

Evap removal from a new V7 II

It is wise to understand how a system functions correctly before one disables it. That system allows the fuel tank to breathe vapors in & out, to exhale excess vapor pressure and to inhale atmosphere when in a vacuum. The check valves is calibrated to control these breathing pressures, and some...

Engine shutting down on cold start

These are likely all the same issue: restricted bypass (throttle) air flow that the ECU stepper commamds are stugging to overcome. That's why the dealership services correct it when they resynch the throttle bodies, providing more bypass airflow, and thereby making stepper work less, followed by...

Corbin seat owners, please reassure me!

I've has Corbin saddles on three bikes: GoldWing, R1200RT and RSV Mille. All three were more firm and taller than OE.

    Beads vs. Air Saddle accessory

I like the beads quite a bit, but they do put you up a little higher in the saddle, and that takes a little getting used to. Also, if you anchor yourself to your bike with your butt cheeks, you'll have to learn a whole new way of grabbing hold 'cause those beads take that away from you.

    Tool Tip Thread

I disagree on refusing to loan tools, among professionals at least. As a shop owner, my network of local colleagues who share knowledge, experience and yes, occasional speciality tools is priceless. So then, my tool tip tonight: If you borrow a tool twice, you have to go buy your own.

Do you use this tool incorrectly?

    That's just silly. :p

Recurring air in the slave cylinder on 2015 Griso

When your lever begins diminishing and you go to bleed, can you tell if there has been any measurable fluid loss? As there are no parts to wear out to drop the fluid level like the brake reservoir, the clutch reservoir should level should never drop. If there is any hint of a drop in fluid...

You'd not be the first Bob. Did that ride make you want to trade in the '07?

New Norge and new to this site

Manufacturer's warranty cannot be voided, altered or rejected based upon who performs recommended maintenance and services. This is the law of the land, federal law, even if your sales contract says otherwise. They may try though, so it is important to document what's been done with odometer...
