    Track day/advanced instruction

I highly recommend a track day with Cornerspeed at VIR (Danville, VA). They are a mature group, provide plenty of instruction, and run a very safe track day. I've run with them a dozen times or so. Their next track day at VIR is in April. It's a Ducati day, but any make or model can run. Sign up...

    Todd was in an accident

Todd, it's good to hear you on here. I wish you the best in your recovery. You'll be riding in no time. After seeing the pics, I'm just happy you can talk about riding again. I hope your holidays are as good as can be expected. Take care.

    Guzzi plans V12 ?

Exciting! I look forward to this bike.

    Computer display went blank

In a previous post someone mentioned changing the battery fixed their instrument panel. I just changed my battery and the dash problems continue. The good news is my B11 is still a wonderful motorcycle. The bike is an absolute joy to ride.

    Computer display went blank

On restart occasionally, my digital display returns to life. I can make the display blank out without moving. A quick twist of the throttle usually does it.

    Computer display went blank

I suffer from the same problem on my B11. I have done all of the above and more, including changing resistor caps, wires, and plugs to no avail. Mine will go out and occasionally come back on after a restart. It seems to go out again around 3,500 rpm. That is about the only correlation with...

    ETHANOL Problem ?

When I started working on the pinging problems with my 07 B11, one of the things I did was to use a country gas station that sold non-ethanol fuel. The non-ethanol fuel combined with Todd's ECU reflash, PCV, and autotune minimized my pinging. I had to work hard to get the bike to ping. Now, if...

I'm searching for a thread on changing inner plugs

Todd: I believe the attached is Graham's original instructions.

    ETHANOL Problem ?

My tank has done the same. I have a few more pimples than you. I couldn't tell you what's causing the problems though. Luckily, the paint has held up.

    Breva 1100 dash problems

I'm way out of warranty. $800 is a bit too steep. I think I'll go without it for now.

    2008 1200 Sport Tail Tidy?

Not that I am aware of.

    Breva 1100 dash problems

I've had the same issue. I initially thought I had a resistance issue. So I replaced plugs and wires with NGK resistor gaps and it had no effect. My LCD kicks out at 3,500 rpm and doesn't come back on. I've been meaning to change the battery. Aside from the LCD issues, the battery has not shown...

    Unexpectedly High Tire Expense

The subject line was ominous. The ending was fabulous. Great to see how well you are taking care of your brother.

    Custom Jobs on 1200 Sport

There are quite a few choices for handlebars. Measure the length and height of yours and find a universal replacement to lower the bars. I put Rizomas on my B11. They are substantially lower and shorter than Sport 1200 bars to the point I had some clearance issues with the left hand switchgear...

    Handlebars for Griso?

Here is a pic to give you an idea of how tight things are:

    Handlebars for Griso?

They are a direct bolt on to the clamps, but you will have to drill for all controls. The thickness of the bars are very good. You would need to use your current bars as templates. But again, be mindful, they are much narrower and you can run out of space quickly if you don't plan for it. I...

    Handlebars for Griso?

I like the Rizoma bars in link below. However, be mindful, they are definitely shorter and narrower. I put them on my B11 and had some clearance issues on the left side. I don't know if they would interfere with a Griso tank. I ended up adding a very thin spacer to the stop on the steering head...

    Cold morning temperatures

John, I first saw you post this information last year. I was not aware of these tire properties. I have since heeded the advice and shared it with other riders. Thanks.
