Tesla Autopilot Crashes into and kills two Motorcycle Riders

We are at a time frame where cars have auto on headlights, windshield wipers, heaters, etc because people are too dumb to figure out old fashioned controls. Yet somebody thinks they will be smart enough to turn off the traction control! Now Tesla is giving away auto driving software.

Tesla Autopilot Crashes into and kills two Motorcycle Riders

I never thought about snow and ice driving. I wonder how it responds to a skid that you then try to control.

    Worthless V100 tire thread

You best be sitting down when you price tires now. Worse yet there's no inventory. A Road smart 3 I paid $120 for last August is $167 now!

Oil Filter Cap Same question as Florida Lime

Not the spring. The cover has a front and a back. You most likely have it on backwards.

Oil Filter Cap Same question as Florida Lime

If it's the same type of cover as the v7 series it can go on several ways but only one is correct. The fins need to run the same direction as the engines and there is an odd shaped one that goes in just so. Look hard at it.

Oil grade change post Fuel Kit install

I'm more blunt. That's the stupidest idea so far today!

What year v85tt should I look for?

There are deals out there on new 22-23. Most likely you can find a 21 somewhere at a deal.

Seriously! They didn't learn how stupid of an idea that was on the 1400?

Idle up a bit after V7 850 valve adjustment

There is no common sense reason to change the V7III or 850 rubbers or gasket. IMHO. The dealer did it to make sure you didn't come back with an oil drip, or, to make a couple of extra bucks. Your choice.

Journalist write up on the New Stelvio

I have a lowered 16 Versys 650 and that shock lays almost flat. And it's a cheapy. It works great. A very smooth ride.

    Howdy Hey from Texas!

I have a 16 and 17 v7. A 22 v85 lowered 1" with a new shock and a 16 Versys 650 lowered 1 1/2" with a Moto Werk kit. The Versys and the 16 v7 are in Az for winter ridding and most times I don't make up my mind which one I will ride until I raise the garage door. I must admit the v7 is more fun...

V85tt won't start, check engine light

I never put a code in either of my v85's. It eventually quit asking. It's real esay to hit that kill switch.

    lower footpegs for v85tt

1800 Goldwing pegs work you just have to get a new spring or make yours longer. Gives you about 1/2" and much wider and more comfortable. SW Motech has them with even more drop. I believe AF1 racing has several choices if there are none listed in the store tab. I have seen many say the Kawasaki...

    "It Just Died"

That would be my guess too. No way you can get it over far enough for the tip sensor to kill it unless it's defective.

V7 II Special cold idle problem

If you went back in the v7 thread to 2015 you will see everybody bitching (rightfully so) about not being able to drive off cold after starting. The secret was to start the bike and let it idle for 1-2 minutes while putting on your jacket and helmet. But, the right fix is what you were told above.
