There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. Be sure to see the GTM STORE link also above for our 700+ product inventory, including OEM parts and many of our 100% Made-in-SoCal-USA GTM products and engine kits. In SoCal? Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. I live in Central Texas and S. California... I just ride all year long most every day of the week. Seems to keep the batteries working. :woohoo:
Wanted to congratulate Revival Cycles on a really impressive build of a 1978 Moto Guzzi Le Mans Mark I. I am especially excited about the keyless ignition using RFID. I got to enjoy such a feature on a bike for about a day before it was stolen.
I got to meet some of the guys at Revival...
"Chicken strips" are the areas of unused tire ("tyre" for many of our members) towards the edge. It's a sport bike term mostly, but refers to the fact that the rider / owner of the bike apparently doesn't lean into corners enough, and thus is a "chicken." The more you lean the bike over, e.g...
I am in Austin at least one week a month, I keep a BMW 1150RT in Austin and wouldn't mind going on rides... we can pretend it is a Guzzi... just um, an oil head. Maybe Todd and I should setup a Guzzi in my garage in Austin. Custom design a "Lone Star" Guzzi. Hmmm.... I smell a project!
Just spoke with Gretchen, and she is touched by the offers to help and send cards. Feel free to use the following address:

Here are pictures from the crash. He was in the front passenger seat, and suffered the most injuries. Todd is recovering in hospital, and we hope he is out sometime Friday, maybe early next week.

This morning around 4am I was in contact with Gretchen, Todd's wife, while he was still in surgery following a serious accident he was involved in near San Diego. Todd was the passenger of a car that was apparently struck by an oncoming vehicle that came into his lane.
As you can...

Sorry about that experience. I don't know many officers that would ticket after seeing someone injured and knowing you were on the way to the hospital, the words "slow down and get there alive" might have been muttered but you would have been let go.
It's the officer's desecration to ticket...
I *might* be there. I know I want to go this weekend, as I know I will be in LA. I need to get the route that we took a week ago so I can continue working on those twisties. Granted, I will not be on a Guzzie... yet.
