Top speed hit on your Guzzi

Years ago after Louie mapped my PCIII in Acton or Little Rock, riding back with Don, My 02 Lemans with an open airbox, Mistral pipes and a dynolinked PCIII putting out 85bhp hit an indicated 142 before common sense got the best of me, it was sounding awesome and was certainly the fastest guzzi...

Delinking a 93 Strada and upgrading the brakes

I have a nice 93 Strada with wooden brakes. I also have the gold brembos from a 2003 Lemans as well as some old brackets for mounting the gold brembos to replace the F08's. Any suggestions on a rear MC to replace the stock Strada unit? After modern brakes, the old linked brakes are too...

What Happens When You Lowside a Griso

Having lowsided my Griso 1100, they are much more crashworthy than the 1200's. I bought a few bits from a friendly dealer at good guy prices and bought some pastrana bars at cycle gear for $25, but some bar end mirrors on and called it a day, it just has character now Glad your OK

    Griso + NJ roads + pothole = crap :(

Just a bit of input, not having any change in your sag does not tell much about bottoming which of course includes sag and spring rate, but is very dependent on damping. If the forks interals are gooned, you could have issues, I would check them out. Cheers,

    ABS works fine...

I never rode a bike with ABS and thought it over rated, until I rode Pete Roper's Mana GT with ABS, I now wish it was on my Cal SS and Griso, would have avoided a couple of crashes....

    California valve adjustment

As I recall, the only change in guzzi valve clearance was when they switched from iron to aluminum rocker holders. The coefficient of expansion allowed the aluminum variety to be a bit tighter. I have always worried if I could not hear my valves. Is your exhaust to quiet ;) There are...

Bren and I have relocated from the valley to Anaheim Hills, quite a ride now to the twisty bits, but closer to Palomar and Idlywild. Hope to hook up with some of the OC guzzi folks soon. Sold my Eldo to commie Nick as he is going to fix it up very nice, but still have plenty of guzzi's to...

    Moving behind the Orange Curtain

Bob, We'll be moving for several months, and the valley is not that far on a weekend. I have been driving most of the time back and forth and staying a occasional night with a friend who has extra room. I love the Miata, I need to get it on a track day as with the yokohama sport tires, it...

    Griso Dash Blank

There were a batch of speedo sensor wires that were one solid strand instead of multiple threaded wire, these were more prone to cracking, I had one but was able to fix it and seal it with magic aerospace sealing snot, worked on Pete's bikes too....

    Grisso top end rattles

Pete's offer is ridiculous, he will do the hard part for a song, just because he has a weird gene that makes him always want to learn more. If you can possibly send it to Pete, it would be the best move could make. Hi is the dogs danglies
