Last gen Griso vs new gen Thruxton

I have to agree. Three years after buying my 2016 Griso I still get that stupid looking grin on my face every time I throw a leg over, throttle up and move out. Its a bike with a unique feel that stirs the soul for sure.

    V7 II Racer or Griso?

All I can add to this conversation is that at two years old and two years later this hooligan bikes fun factor is still a perfect 10.

    First Guzzi Christmas....

I'm just north of you in Brandon. I'm on my 2nd Christmas with the Griso and I'm still just as addicted to it as the first.

    What the Hell?

Yep been saying that for the last few years, and its why I don't hose off any of my bikes, only lower half tires and wheels. The rest I dry or damp wash with wet cloths and quick detailers. Its not just Guzzi's, but Triumphs are also allergic to water. I've had 5 of them over the last eight...

    Guzzi Helmets

Even thou I own an open face helmet, and they are very comfortable, I'm not into 3/4 helmets, I like my face too much... With urban traffic the way it is where I live, and one of the highest motorcycle fatality rates in the US, I prefer to go with a full face helmet.

    New sport-touring model

Sorry, but in 2013 the Triumph Trophy SE, the FJR 1300 and the Concourse 1400 were classified as Sport Tourers, not only by the manufacturers, but by all the mags also. Things do change with time.....Here's one of many articles that might jog your memory...

Using GPS Power for other Accessories?

Not a problem. That's one of the nice things about this forum, everyone has always been helpful, I've picked up a lot of good information here. Here's the LED lights that I installed between the fork tubes a few months back using the same power source, not a very good pic though.

Using GPS Power for other Accessories?

That's what I did. I used it for a 12v accessory port for charging the phone and other items, you can see it mounted behind the GPS in the 1st photo. If you remove the right side cover underneath the tank, you will see the wiring harness running up around the yoke of the steering head (2nd photo...

    New sport-touring model

Unfortunately sport tourers haven't been selling very well over the last 3 or 4 years due to adventurer tourers be all the rage now. I had one of the best most technically advanced sport touring bikes that Triumph had ever produced, the Triumph Trophy SE, introduced in 2013, they discontinued it...

Using GPS Power for other Accessories?

I used the GPS power supply on my Griso to power LED auxiliary lights that I installed, so it can be used for other accessories. I direct wired my GPS charging cradle directly to the battery with an inline fuse. I didn't want the GPS coming on every time I started the bike.

    Back into the Griso fold

Great looking Griso. 11 years between the models, what's your thoughts in comparison of both bikes?

    Griso Goodies

Nice. I'm ok with the stock bar height and reach, but I could definitely benefit from the lower pegs.

Dart Flyscreen install on ‘15 Griso

I installed the Dart Classic five years ago on my 13 Bonneville and I liked it so much, I put one on the16 Griso as soon as I got it. As you said, it takes some wind pressure off of the torso area, and I've never experienced any buffeting. I didn't experience any additional wind noise from it...

    Hello and which Guzzi

That's exactly what I did in December 2016. I purchased a end of the year 16 Griso SE that they had just discounted to $11,500. Price was right and I couldn't resist. I had always loved the lines and curves of the Griso ever since I saw the Tenni Green Griso in 2012, striking to say the least...
