    Broken Header

I didn't see any for the V7II in the store link. And if at all possible, I'd almost rather get some OEM that someone pulled off for aftermarket, just to save some money. The budget is tight and this is my primary mode of transportation lately.

    Broken Header

So, I just rolled over 10,000 miles and this happened, almost to the mile. Is this just a thing that happens or should I be concerned about a bigger problem further down the line? I know the bike is out of warranty and I'm just going to have to pay to get it fixed, but this seems like a pretty...

    Rubber Bulbs?

Cool. I'll check to see if the bulb is just dirty on the outside, or if it's inside. I've had some oil splatter on the top of the engine recently, so it may just be from that.

    Rubber Bulbs?

Pardon my naiveté, but what are these and should I be concerned that one is soiled while the other is still perfectly clear? Thanks in advance.

    Sweet! Thanks!

    V7 II Maintenance Chart

So, just ignore the computer? Is there a way to clear the "MAINT" message?

    V7 II Maintenance Chart

Just out of curiosity, if the maintenance is due every ~6000 miles, why did my "MAINT" message appear in the upper 9000's?

    V7 II Fuel/Idle Issue

They had it for three months, updated the ECU and tweaked the TPS. They claimed to have ridden it several times, and admittedly when I picked it up, it seemed to be doing okay, but before I got home it was stuttering and sputtering again. Just gonna have to start riding with the GoPro on at all...

    V7 II Fuel/Idle Issue

I didn't swap the O2 sensors, I just unplugged them completely. It wouldn't' hardly run with them plugged in so I've simply left them unplugged. I have noticed a marked improvement, but every now and then it does stutter when cold, threatening to die but I manage to rev it to keep riding. I...

    V7 II Fuel/Idle Issue

Yeah, I've been considering just skipping the O2 sensors, myself.

    V7 II Fuel/Idle Issue

Nope. I have to believe there is still something wrong. I rode several times yesterday and suffered near stalls and inconsistent throttle. I finally got frustrated with it and just pulled the O2 sensors out at a stop light and everything smoothed out again. The dealer told me that "it the O2...

    V7 II Fuel/Idle Issue

Siphoned every drop of fuel out of the tank this weekend and found some water or some non-gas substance at the bottom of the tank. This could explain a lot of the rough running. I filled it back up with 93 Octane with some Seafoam and ran it around for 130+ miles. Still a couple stutters, but...

    V7 II Fuel/Idle Issue

So here's an update. The dealer had it for 3 weeks and claimed that it was running "as intended." I told them to please look at it again and at least flash the ECU. They called me back the next day and said that it was in fact running poorly and kept it for another two weeks to diagnose it...

    V7 II Stone handlebar ideas

I'd love to hear (and see) what you ultimately decide on. I'm in the same boat, I would prefer a slightly more aggressive position, but we bought the bike for two-up riding, so that is definitely a consideration.

    V7ii Evap Canister Removal

I removed the evap canister from my Royal Enfield, but that's only because it was an aftermarket addon that was literally zip-tied to the front down-tube. I can't even see the evap canister on the V7, so I'm not too concerned about it. Nice to know that it can be removed just as easily, though.

    V7 II Fuel/Idle Issue

I'm curious to hear how the solo Corbin compares to the stock seat. Please keep me informed... ...not that I will be buying it any time soon, my wife would strangle me if I bought a second seat at that price. ;)

    V7 II Fuel/Idle Issue

I like the Corbin seat for two-up riding - my wife feels much safer with the longer seat and back-rest. I also appreciate it for long distance riding. For short jaunts around town, I still prefer the basic seat. The Corbin is more of a "bucket seat" so while it is super comfortable in your...

    Yeah, that's how mine sounds.

    V7 II Fuel/Idle Issue

Just a brief follow-up... I took it to my local dealer/shop and they are going to look at it and see if it falls under warranty service. Being the beginning of prime riding weather here in North Texas, it will be a couple of weeks before I hear back from them.

V7 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

It could also be useful in the event that a bike is stolen, everyone on the forum would have that VIN and be able to check for any suspicious sales in their area.
