Three years on a Stornello V7 II and 5500 km, no issues.
With that said I really like the Triumphs too, beautiful bikes.
In forums like this you always get a concentration of faults/issues, thats what they are for.
For a 2017 V7II Stornello engine light is not the service indicator. That manifests itself through the letters "MAInt" in the display (when exceeding 1000 km, 10000 km etc).
The MAInt-indication can be turned off via the buttons in some sequence stated in the service station manual (the shop is...
Also try to charge it, battery is not necessarily doomed. My 2017 V7II Stornello got exactly like that during first winter. I just charged it (w a good charger) and works fine since then. I'll probably charge it before spring start up just for the sake of it. Stock battery.
I'd go stock and one owner, then you can customize yourself when/if you'd like. FWIW.
Then, since you mention V7 III, the big thing to me over V7 2014 was ABS/TC and that came with the V7 II. So if such should appear to your liking I'd think about that.
Sidenote: I have a 2016 with 4000km, it...
Hi all,
Never saw this, a friend pointed it out. An exposed contact under the instruments behind number plate and head light.
Also, below the green contact there are two white cables looking a bit too exposed as well. Looks like something missing there too?
What is it? Shouldnt it be more...
I'll take a picture next time, apparently it is hard to understand what I assumed most V7/Stornello no-tang riders experienced.
Boots, well sort of, shoe:ish ones but with legit protection.
Above left shoe, your leg scratches against foot peg (alu, rough edged on Stornello) when lowering the...
Dont work, I'll spare you of an image of my current bruises. It's not like a one time experience, it happens all the time. One in three stops perhaps without leg touching/scratching foot peg.
Back a year ago I got a V7II Stornello and since then I have constant bruises on my inner left lower leg from putting down the side stand. I do it while sitting on the bike, I dont get off first for the risk of bike falling over. Small risk I know but why take it.
Is there a sophisticated...
Thank you! It's actually more the lens, a semi-ancient manual Voigtländer 35mm put on a Sony A7 II.
Here's a pic (there's a sticker saying Contax - but it is a Sony)
Hey Bill. Brown seats may be a euro-thing I dont know but it is just right here and now :) Yes, euro versions have the smaller chrome (still plastic though!) turn signals. I like that theyre circular which is what they were in the 70's.
Matters not much, love your bike and I see you found the...
