    V7 C-S Suspension Thread

You are killing me. The Kineo wheels are Uber expensive but I can see the benefits. I wish there were equivalent wheels for about $2,500 after tax instead of the $3,500 after tax. Of course my cheap option is to seal the oem rims (on my Anniversario they are aluminum wheels and look pretty...

    V7 C-S Suspension Thread

I’ve got the piggyback matris shocks on the back and the fully adjustable matris cartridges in the front, and the bike is completely transformed. Have them reasonably dialed in. Very comfortable over road bumps and joints. Sometimes I even ride over potholes just to feel the suspension soak...

    Steering Stabilizer....?

Other than canyon riding an adjustable steering damper can be really nice in gusty winds. Even though I put a Scott's damper on my KTM690 mostly for off road, a huge added benefit was settling down this relatively light 350lb bike on the highway in windy situations. So if I was to go touring...

You are correct on the first service. 1,500 kilometers or 900 miles.

    V7 III - Has arrived

I fill up on the sidestand to the bottom of the steel basket at the filler. Low fuel light comes on around 185 miles, and pushing things the other day, bike died out of gas next to a gas station showing 63 miles. I put in 5.3 gallons. Now, CA gas does seem to return poor mpg figures. Is...

I would like to know this too.

    Headlight Upgrade

I live in Los Angeles. The beep beep beep of the stock horn is good here as it is unlikely to trigger gunfire from enraged idiots. Seriously, it's not bad for lane splitting as it just notifies drivers you are there without getting them pissed off.

    V7 C-S Suspension Thread

Got the shocks on and took about a 15 minute spin over some bad pavement freeway areas that have been beating my but. Much more compliant. Can't wait to dial them in. The sections where I would wince at and feel the need to rise off the seat are just ordinary bumps that don't bother me. I...

I kind of like its polite little beep beep beep.

Todd just delivered (well, UPS helped) my new Matris piggy back shocks custom sprung, to my office, Under two weeks order to at my door. How in the world he managed that I don't know. Chrome springs to match my Anniversario to boot. Hope to mount them up this weekend. Now am looking what...

    V7III Anniversario - Luggage

I'm looking to go with a vintage look and am about to order Craven "Comet" cases in black. I will figure out how to custom mount them on a black hepco becker loop luggage rack. Google up Craven Industries. They are in England (GB). Their cases were popular with old Triumphs and Nortons.

    Headlight Upgrade

What would be cool is if you could activate the turn signal function on both sides as a blinking light for use when lane splitting. Pretty sure that would get the attention of drivers as you split. My BMW will flash both turn signals as hazard lights, and although illegal, I have used those...

V7 III Rear Grab Bar & Other Accessories

Per AFI the MG rear rack for the V7iii's will not fit the Anniversario. The only rear rack that will fit the Anniversario is the HB one.

Does or does not Guzzi offer a centerstand for V7 III's?

Regarding the TC, I find myself trying to see if I can get it to kick in. Like, I see a manhole in a turn and it's time to goose the throttle a bit whilst leaned over. I have managed to ignite the TC light a couple of times. Hopefully the damn safety feature does not lure me into a crash.

V7 III Special..quirks, advice, trip odometer?

I actually like the gas cap on my Anniversario. It makes the one on the Special look plain Jane. Talk about artsy fartsy.

V7 III Special..quirks, advice, trip odometer?

I actually find the stock mirrors to be fine. I hated the mirrors on a V7 I test rode.

Credit card has worked well for me in the past. Of course with the Anniversario I had a bit less chance of screwing it up,

First Brit review on new V7 III

If your vIII is loud, you should check where the mufflers connect to the pipe. There is supposed to be a gasket of asbestos looking material. On my VIII it fell out on one side and the bike sounded really nice. I had the shop replace it on my fist service and bike is quiet again.

V7 III Special..quirks, advice, trip odometer?

Regarding gas light, it does come on early. I need to figure out what the real range is. I think I went 50 miles after the light came on once and still only but in a bit over 4 gallons. The gauges show I am getting about 54 MPG.
