    Audace Brake Pedal

Hi Janusz, Just came across some pics of the new MGX21 Flying Castle (an Audace spin-off). It looks like they have a differently shaped brake pedal which is shorter and the rubber pad seems higher. Perhaps something for you?

    Heated grips help

Not available on 2017 model Cali 1400s? I am surprised, what's the difference of the older ride-by-wire throttle grip to that new one? Absolutely makes no sense to drop the heated grip option from a top end touring bike. Here is one link for the 'older' Cali...

MG Rack and Givi Top Box on Audace

Here is the link for the seat heating kit http://www.sargentcycle.com/Seats-Accessories/DIY-Heat-Kit I had the heatpad fitted by a professional car upholsterer, the electrics I did myself.

MG Rack and Givi Top Box on Audace

The seat is the stock Audace seat, it comes with an additional small seat pad for pillion riders which I removed.

    Audace exhaust options

Have you considered the Agostini slip-ons specifically made for the Audace? I like them in black so they don't show any discolouring of the header pipes. The are lighter than stock, look good and sound awesome (keep dB killers installed otherwise your neighbours will hate you and the boys in...

    Tank cover removal

I also need to remove the Eagle badges on either side of the tank to take the side covers off. One of my winter projects is to wrap them with carbon fibre film. Attached a photo of the backside of the eagle - note the small tabs on each side! You need to get a fishing line inside the tabs to...

    Technical question

Just google for 'Guzzidiags', it is a freeware PC software. Only buy the cable adaptor they recommend (no el cheapo eBay clones) and it works a charm to read error codes, clear them and do more advanced things like TPS reset, handle self-learning and reset trims. Originally developed for older...

    Heated grips help

Heated grip option (OEM Guzzi) is actually one of the very few add-ons which are not ridiculuously overpriced and well worth having, since they nicely integrate with the instrument control screen also. I had them retro-fitted by my dealer at the time when I decided to replace the Audace dragbar...

    Audace Handlebar thread

I had the Cali 1400 Touring handlebar fitted, incl. the risers. Cables needed replacing also with touring model's longer ones. Cables shown on photo were original Audace cables, too short.

MG Rack and Givi Top Box on Audace

Done quite a few mods to my Audace also: 1. Agostini slip-ons (with dB killer fitted) 2. Cali 1400 Touring handlebar with risers 3. Original OEM heated grip option added 4. Sargent heated seat pad and controller fitted 5. Removed fender extender for lights and number plates 6. Used Harley...

    Audace Brake Pedal

Like yourself I am not very happy with the brake pedal position. Unfortunately there is nothing else one can do. The brake lever is very special, with a press-fit bearing, which would make it quite difficult for 3rd parties to make an alternative lever.

    Piaggio Multimedia Platform

The connector seems right, I don't have the bike here at the moment, but do remember this type of connection. Only other thing I could think of is to check all fuses are good.

    Agostini Exhausts for Audace 2015

I have them here (in Australia) fitted by dealer at time of bike purchase. My thinking is they might be too loud for European tastes (speak regulations). They do give off quite a bark (even with dB killers fitted).

    louder pipes

2nd that. Louder, deeper, meaner, but not too loud.

    Audace Brake Pedal

The brake pedal position itself cannot be adjusted. It actuates a small threaded rod with pushes into the hydraulic brake cable assembly underneath the righthand side. There is a nut on the thread which locks the threaded bolt on position, it can be loosened to allow to adjust the brake's play...

    Piaggio Multimedia Platform

To pair with iPhone make sure the ignition key is turned to ON, have iPhone ready in Settings, Bluetooth, wait at least 30-60 seconds, the PMP (Piaggio Multimedia Platform) abbreviation should show up, then press Connect on iPhone. For later usage off app, first turn on bike's ignition (to...
